The staff and the view were top notch! Cleanliness needs to be a priority!

The Staff was fantastic!

The room was not very clean and extremely dusty. If you sat something on the nightstand, it was covered in dust within 30 minutes. Ive never seen so much dust.

The view overlooking the river and near independence historic area was excellent.

Parking was expensive and not the easiest to find. Was charged $100 incidentals per night upon arrival (although it was refunded upon checkout, that is still a lot to ask). Ice machine was broken and the coffee shop was closed.

The lack of communication between the staff during shift change and the lack of commitment to meet clients needs. I asked for a crib at 3:45 pm when I checked in and was told it would be brought right up to me room. At 11:30pm still no crib and I had to fight with the staff to finally bring me the crib. The issue was they got my room number wrong when they should have just look ed up my information on their computer instead of going to a no civilian floor taking them my crib multiple times after they told them that the crib was not intended for their room and that they had the wrong room. When I went downstairs after I was told at 11 pm my crib was inches way, the staff was still sitting at the front desk doing absolutely nothing.

The location is always great. The views are beautiful. The lobby is always beautifully decorated.

We have stayed here many, many, times before and loved it. This time, however, we found our room to be sub-par. We had a king water front, which we've also had in the past. This time, the bathroom was dirty. The floor was dirty. The ceiling in the bathroom was disgusting. The bottom of the tub was half peeled off. We had to take the back of the toilet off to flush it. And the duvet cover on the bed had stains on it. We had pre paid the room, I understand you still have to leave a card for damages when you check in. My identity had recently been stolen, so my temp card doesn't have a name on it at all. The girl at the desk wasn't going to accept it and said it had to match my ID. If my husband wasn't on the room also and didn't have his own credit card, would you not have let us stay in our room we had already paid for?? After staying here for the last 6 Christmases, for over $500 with parking, we just won't be staying here anymore. It just wasn't up to par compared to where else you can stay in the city for that pricing. It used to compare. Our room was 1410, it needs updating and actual cleaning.

Superb

Expensive compared to other hotels as paying for location

Our room was on 20th floor so a great view of the Delaware River, over into New Jersey and the old boats moored alongside at Penn's Landing. The walk into old Philadelphia wasn't very easy with a mobility scooter and the cobbled streets were very uneven for the scooter too. Lots to see and do and so many places to eat

Soundproofing of the windows, there was always a steady hum of traffic from the freeway and main roads below

Room with view of Ben Franklin Bridge. Beds comfortable and room was neat and clean

Refrigerator wasn't cold enough to be useful to keep leftovers from the Anchor and Rope cold; only cans of soda or water are kept cold. Toilet seat was loose, a piece of tile was coming loose in the shower and the shower controls were not set up to function in an easy to use way.
