A very good place to stay with family

Everyone was very family friendly. Staff was amazing had a wonderful time. Staff everywhere always willing and wanting to help that just made my stay even more amazing

Give another hotel a chance.

The location was good and the staff friendly.

The price was high for no real service. The vending machine had pastic soda bottles, and they were flat. No where else to get sodas unless room service at $7 a drink. Absolutely NO water pressure on 19th floor. It's very hard to shower. Our last day the maid knocked on our door 3 times before check out. The first time, It woke me up at 7 am. The second time, about 15 minutes later, I told her we were checking out at 11, she came back the third time and it was 9. We just decided to go.

The location was amazing.

The bathroom didnt seem like it was as clean as it could have been and the carpet appeared dirty in our room.

Was a great gift for my husband who is a big history buff!

The hotel, staff, and area we very good we had no issues until the last morning when the construction outside our window started other than that it was a very good stay right on the river walk everything within atleast a 6-7 minute walk from us.

We tried a couple of the hotel restaurants and the first one we were told only reservations very rudely by Im assuming the restaurant manager when we approached and asked which ok I understood it was Christmas Day only to go by later that night we walked by and saw only 4 people inside and asked if they were possibly taking walk ins since it looked slow. The hostess let us know they were shutting down and for reference he asked again had they been taking walk ins and she told us yes all day so we were lied to by the manager. The second one we walked in same Christmas night very slow and the hostess told us it would be about a 20 minute wait to sit us with only a handful of people in there. She asked us if we were a guest of the hotel we told her yes we were and she proceeded to tell us we could wait outside (it was 40 degrees, drizzling and nowhere to sit) my husband asked if we could simply just sit at the bar while we waited she quickly said no I have no bartender we let her know we were not drinking it was just to get out of the rain and cold outside and she told us no. With that I was very upset so we just walked a little ways down and were seated and a much much busier restaurant right away without hesitation and with a much better attitude.

Good

Staff and restaurants were excellent. So convenient to everything since it is on the riverwalk. The RIO cruise is located right in front of hotel at riverside.

We had a room on the street side and the noise from the construction across the street was horrible. It was quiet at night but the construction started early in the morning.

Very good

The perfect place to be able to get to where w needed to go, but the grand dame is showing her age.

Proximity to the things we were going to. The history of the hotel. The staff was incredible.

The construction noise at 8:00 am. The rooms are showing their age. Paper peeling in the bathroom. Carpet showing its age.

Myra in the coffee shop made it very clear she had a concern with my husband. He has TS. His medication isn't working. He can not help it. I was absolutely devastated at her reaction to his inability to control his muscle movement. We ended up staying in our room for the evening and will make at trip to SA another time and enjoy the holiday festivities.
