Room was very clean, comfortable and had everything I needed.

There was confusion with the reservation. They had booked my son's room under a different name. I spoke with Gina at the Hilton Garden who was very rude, short and dismissive with me. Told me I had to call Booking.com. She couldn't help me. It was not booking.com's error. Gina spent more time telling me how it happened rather than giving me a brief "I am sorry for the inconvenience!" It did not leave a pleasant impression of the staff.

Good place for short stays - on the pricey side

Great location. Excellent front desk staff and housekeeping staff. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Close to shopping. Easy commute to SF over Bay Bridge. Some rooms have beautiful views of the bay.

Pricey. $25 per day parking fee. We did get it discounted to $15 but think it should have been free. Our room was nice but not for a long stay - we were there almost 2 weeks. There was hardly anyplace to store our things. Tiny closet. No drawers or any kind of storage in night stands. Very little storage space in bathroom. Im guessing that there are bigger rooms for a bigger price. No free breakfast - it was $23 per person. We did not try it. Very small refrigerator but at least we had one. It looked more like a wine fridge.

The hotel is less than a mile from the Bay Bridge- it was extremely convenient to get to San Francisco where I was going for business. The entire hotel was clean and the bed was super comfortable.

The restaurant closes at 10.

It is a great hotel with good value. I will come back if I visit S.F. again.

Bay view: Other hotels in Emeryville have rooms with bay view. But only this one does not have a highway in between. Breakfast: Hot breakfast with lot of varieties, sausages, ham, egg, oatmeal, fruits, pastries, juices, etc. Staff: Front desk and food servers are very courteous and helpful.

On-site parking is $25/night. It's a bit expensive; but other hotels there charge for parking, too, except Sheraton.
