Breakfast? Aside from a couple dry pastries in a case on the counter, I wouldn't say this place offers any kind of breakfast.

Everything. The quality of this place has declined immensely over the last couple years and the prices keep going up. Very disappointing. The details that used to make this place unique and inviting no longer seem to exist. It's unorganized and messy looking. The rooms no longer look like the photos - no throw blanket or extra pillow on the bed, just stiff, scratchy white sheets to sleep in. The amenities are overpriced (a small cup of drip coffee with one added shot of espresso was $9+). The Camp Trippalindee restaurant used to be one of the main reasons we liked this hotel so much. While the food is always exactly what we expect, the environment and experience itself has declined every year we have visited. There used to be a perfectly curated and decorated space that truly looked and felt like you were in your Aunt's 70's time capsule rec room. Now, it's sparsley decorated, the style of chairs and seating went from legit eclectic and retro to messy, random, garage sale vibes. There was a cabinet full of board and card games that you could play while hanging out, which has been reduced to about four options, almost all of which are missing game pieces, are sticky, and have food crumbs in the boxes instead. Overall the entire experience of this place has gone from amazing to not worth it. It was a great idea from the beginning, but it seems like no one cares to maintain what they started. Again, it's very disappointing because this was my dream hotel experience when we started visiting initially and I'm at a point where I honestly don't know if I can stay here anymore. And I'd like to add that the location is stellar. I just wish management would get this place together so that people could truly enjoy it again.

Welcoming and unique

The room was not as cute as advertised. We were put in a corner room with no view and could hear every movement the house keeping people made as were were right next to the storage closets on the floor. Would not have paid what I did for the room we had. Otherwise a great experience

A short comfy stay in Madison

Good location in Madison. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Nice cocktails. Good view from restaurant.

Bed was too soft. In room coffee was not good.

Madison home away from home.

Such a comforable, happy place to stay. Accessible to campus and nearby State Street. Home away from home. Love the student atmosphere. Love having a small bar and restaurant in the hotel.

Disappointing

Overpriced for the quality

It was very convenient to campus!

The bed was very used and sank down in the middle. There was no fan in the bathroom. The elevator made a very loud WAHHH every time it moved. The walls were thin and the other guests rowdy until 3 AM.

Ideal Location, Comfortable Hotel

The hotel is well located in the city centre. The room was relatively small but fine for our needs, spotlessly clean, comfortable. The decor theme of the hotel in general is very nice. Staff are friendly.

The menu in the restaurant was very limited and mostly fast/fried food. A range of healthier options would have kept us at the hotel to eat.

Small well decorated room near the Madison Capitol

The location of The Graduate Madison is great - 10 min walk to the capitol building. The decor was fun, and the staff were very helpful and kind. I accidentally booked two rooms when I only needed one (through different sites - I though one had not worked), and The Graduate let me cancel the second room upon arrival with no charge.

The room was very small. There was no not-hanging clothes storage. There was a small closet. There were also two side-tables next to the queen sized bed which appeared to have three drawers each. These would have been perfect storage for our 4 night stay! Alas, the drawer pulls just opened a door and the side tables were just empty, no shelves or drawers, as if to house a mini-fridge. We lived out of our suit cases on the floor.
