Good location, but if you if the name Premier is in your title, should have some premier amenities

Location was good to attend events at University of Wisconsin

Our flight came in a bit earlier than our check in time. Was told our room was ready but it would be a $30 charge to get into it at that time. Never experienced that at another hotel. Disappointing when we were already paying over $500 per night. No water or coffee maker in the room

Location good but too expensive for room quality and very limited amenities.

Location. Valet parking.

Room, and especially the bathroom was smaller than expected for the price of the room. No continental breakfast! Breakfast (lunch and dinner) items available to purchase IF you want to pay an inflated price! Asked about availability of complimentary coffee and was told by the front desk that it is only served from 6-9:00 a.m.!!! Whats that about??!! We have stayed in many other major downtown hotels in many cities for much less money and much more available traveler amenities. If not for its location to the convention center and a few time-tested Madison hangouts, the price to stay here is excessive for what is offered as part of your stay.

This one will surprise you. Wonderful hotel.

Loved this hotel. Spacious rooms/suites that were very comfortable. The bar area was very nice with a view of the Capitol and a nice breakfast in the morning. Learned a little of the history of this hotel and it has a lot of character.

The man running the bar/breakfast area in the morning wasn't very friendly. He seemed really annoyed waiting on us.

I love this hotel and will stay again. A bit pricey for a room with only one actual bed

The hotel was spotless and staff were exceptional. The view was amazing and the location perfect for everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and comfortable and when requested housekeeping came. close to everything...capital, great bars and restaurants, University, lake. staff helpful with suggestions, always friendly and accommodating.

the pullout couch was fine for sleeping but not great. had to request bedding (came quickly) but then i had to make the bed myself, not a deal breaker. and the bar closed too early would have loved nightcap! I also had to request housekeeping each day which should have been explained on check in, but not an issue either night, and did a great job and made up the sofa bed each time. Also--one morning no coffee after 730?? that is early to end coffee for most of us esp on vacation. None of this would prevent a positive review, just fyi
