GoSolo : the BESTEST hostel in Mumbai

GoSolo Stays is hands down the BESTEST hostel in Mumbai. The property is very charming, located very centrally and above all has the best people ever! I was travelling solo and Aakash from the hostel left no stone unturned in ensuring that my stay was the most comfortable and enjoyful ever! Thank you GoSolo for leaving me with memories and new friends I will cherish for a long long time!! I will definitely be back again!!

Breakfast nice but hectic, mattress comfy. Weird vibe but sometimes nice

I've been woke up in the middle of night by two guys installing curtains, in the female dorm. They were really sorry about that but it still suck. And I think they were drunk, since they were drinking when I go to bed.

Good people, good for 1 night

The staff is friendly. Location is really good. Felt safe as a solo female traveler. Card payment possible. A hostel where you meet many nice people really easily. For 1 night its ok.

The female dorm has a quite mouldy smell (without window and the bathroom is really bad to be honest. Quite noisy at night as people hang out in the kitchen. Just be aware!

The staff here are very kind and helpful! Aniket helped me book a bus to goa and Akash helped find my lost phone stand!! Seriously I truly appreciate their helpfulness and generosity. Also this hostel has a cat that comes pretty often to the veranda of the bungalow. There's a very sizable dining area with a large wooden table that is perfect for socializing. I've met many wonderful people at this hostel and highly recommend it. The beds in the female 8 person dorm are also quite wide and some bunks have a lot of shelf and hook space. Also I love the lighting outside and on the veranda! Perfect holiday vibes. 500/5!

Wow! Such a great place to stay. Exceptionally friendly staff. Very helpful. Perfect location. A foodies delight, all in walking distance from hostel. Good local breakfast. If you need a sim for your phone, check out Sujit at Vodafone Hill Road opp the police station ( recommendation from GoSolo staff). If your on a budget but need to be central book here.

No private facilities in any of the rooms.

Mumbai travels = Gosolo

From the check in experience, to getting my bed in the dom and then the tour of the place with Akash and Aniket who are some amazing host and managers of the property. The breakfast was basic but still had all the things one can ask for with this price you pay for this place. Defiantly coming back to this place when I travel back to Mumbai.

I took few minuities to recall what I did not like about this place. But I really could no think anything as my experience at this place was amazing.

Clean food. Value for money.

Security measures could be improved inside the dorm. People/guests barge in at the middle of the night from other rooms without permission. Locker/vault is needed as well as space for storing luggage for working women.

Was fine for a night but I wouldn't want to stay longer

Custom made beds good for a dorm space and quite comfy, strong AC, and seemed to have a somewhat social vibe although I was really just in and out of there

Bathroom at least in the girl's dorm needs a serious face-lift - felt extremely old and dirty and just not at all comfortable to use. Also when I arrived at nearly 11 pm techno music was blaring from the front porch - it got turned down as soon as I asked but I was really in shock that people were allowed to distrub each other like that. While I was expecting something basic, the building is definitely in need of repairs (though common areas seem well looked after).
