Fantastic location

Fantastic location. Friendly staff. Clean comfy room a bit small but it was very cheap so good value for money

Breakfast not included. We paid for breakfast separately but disappointing. There are some.great breakfast places nearby.

Great location, relatively clean. Friendly staff.

Noisy late at night and early morning both from traffic, dogs and staff cleaning on the floor above dragging furniture around at 7 am. The furniture in the room is quite old which contributes to a feeling of not being super clean.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Fort Dew.

We were delighted with our stay at Fort Dew. The location was ideal, overlooking a community cricket ground, the fort ramparts, Indian Ocean and of course, unforgettable sunsets, all from our balcony. Nishshanka, the manager, made us feel very welcome, gave us good recommendations for touring sites, beaches and shopping, and ensured that we caught our early train when we left. We had some interesting conversations about many things, including the installation of solar panels on the roof during our stay. We also highly recommend the restaurant on the top terrace. The chef Hirusha made excellent meals - who could forget the Seafood Platter?

What I say to most hotels: it would be useful to have more hooks in the room and bathroom to hang clothes, towels etc.
