No Disappointments Here!

Everything- there were no disappointment because the description and location of the property was exactly how described in booking.com. However the hosts and staff at this particular property can only be experienced by going there! Our first trip to The Cape and what a welcome! They could not do enough for us or supply us with enough information to enjoy our stay in and around Stellenbosch. How lucky is Alexander Road to have this Guest House situated there!

Hidden Gem - a hop, skip and a jump from the main road

Before the stay The team sends you a lovely welcome letter with suggestions on what to do, where to eat and how to enjoy yourself in the area. Upon arrival the team at Fleur de Soleil make you feel welcome right from the start. The room has lots of details that make it feel special. A hand written welcome note and a detailed door with suggestions, just to name a couple. Breakfast was always delicious and a great way to start the day! This place is a must stay!

Stanley, Wendy and the rest of the team were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast served outside was outstanding. The location is great, just a short walk from the main road with all restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend and return.

Beautiful family business couldnt do enough to make us welcome and comfortable even went out and got us food for breakfast that was not on the menu

Spotless bedroom, comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Exceptionally warm and helpful, well-informed staff who could give excellent recommendations/make bookings. Great location with an easy stroll into the town of Franschoek. Good breakfasts. Honesty bar and great snack selection.

Didn't like that the room was so small and that the bedroom opened directly onto the pool patio. Didn't enjoy the lack of privacy. Had to fill out a breakfast menu card the day before, rather than deciding what to eat at breakfast.

Very well maintained, clean and cozy. Very high ceiling, great showers, friendly staff.

All was great, but would be even better if the property had spa and gym in-house.

Luzurious stay in the heart of Franschhoek.

Great location near centre of Franschhoek. It is advertised as a "luxury guesthouse" and it does exactly what it says on the tin. Great breakfast in the morning by the pool. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
