Stunning and relaxing mountain holiday destination

We are annual visitors to this resort and we have been coming for more than 20 years. It is our family's favourite destination and we will certainly be making another booking in 2024. The standards have improved over the years and the staff are friendly and helpful. The accommodation and the area in front of the rock pool is stunning.

Repair to the tennis court surface where the tree roots are lifting it up , would be appreciated.

Ok. Not great in miserable weather. Walks are also now limited due to not being able to cross rivers

No mountain view

The rain and checking in a little delayed. Vehicles were parked in the check in area not allowing other guests to check in while it was pouring with rain. Long distance to carry luggage to room in the pouring rain.

Disappointing.

Communicating the activities using WhatsApp. The handyman Max was extremely helpful and professional.

Room 47 did not have a garden view as advertised on booking.com The arm rests of two old chairs in the hotel room were worn away and both chair seats were sinking deeply. Also stain on the seat of the one chair. Bottom of fridge was rusted. Towell handrail was loose. The dining room carpets had many stains on the carpet. TV did not work, had to be replaced with new batteries. My car slid on the gravel road close to the hotel and then I went into a ditch. Had to be pulled out by handyman that works at the hotel. Reception staff not helpful when I requested a raincoat. Service slow when ordering breakfast and staff are not trained to ask how you like your eggs and there was no butter and jam with the toast. The hotel requires maintenance. I will be sending a long email to the general manager. Andre.

Relaxing environment, great activities.

Absolutely Stunning Location and the environment was amazing. Excellent staff to assist with requests and inquiries when we had any - this made a huge difference to our enjoyment of our stay.

Cleanliness of the bathrooms is an area that the cleaning staff should improve because when traveling with a toddler, the place needs to be clean. If this is not done well in the bathrooms, one can question how well the other areas are kept clean.

Where its located, the peacefulness and beautiful scenery

That fact that you are not allowed to enjoy your own drinks (cooler box) beyond the reception area (pool side etc) and the staff is not so much friendly
