Comfortable and functional. Good breakfast for a midrange chain hotel like that.

Check-in took inordinately long. We were literally at the counter 20 minutes trying to check in, while she fought with her computer, forgot things, had to redo things or ask other colleagues for help. Room make-up policy was unclear. Was it on request only, or automatically done? Despite asking the woman 3 times, it still wasn't clear because her answer was always vague. "Fitness center" very small indeed. A bit more expensive than we expected for that location.

The staff were very nice, that includes every single person we dealt with or even passed in the hall! The room was comfortable and clean.

Very poor

Requested to check out 1-day early. Both Fairfield and Booking.com pointed their finger at each other, neither were willing to credit the account. Bottom line . . . we had to pay for the day that we checked out. We will not use Booking.com or Fairfield/Marriot in the future.
