Very good

Simple, basic, functional for travellers on a budget!

Mr Lucky was so hospitable, he wanted to help us in any way he could! View of Adams Peak was spectacular! He made us a delicious breakfast every morning and waited up for us at night. He even offered to drive us to our next destination for a reasonable fee.

It will be great to come back when the property feels a little more finished.

There is a lot more better good/great/fabulous places in Ella, than this one...

Mmmmm... Panoramic view over the valley, plus perfect view of Little Adams Peak. And thats about positives... Well, telling the thruth, owner of place put some effort to Please guests( ONLY me to be honest), but thats it.... And lovely geckons in my bedroom over night, which kept it free of flys, mosquitos and spiders :-))

Cleanliness below standards, even if we take into account its location ( off the town in the jungle pretty much, and in a poor country like Sri Lanka). So far, i was in a few different location, and some of them were absolutely on top, some not quiet but this one is definitely right on the bottom. No wonder, some of guests did run away during my stay straight after they had a look on the bedroom and especially in bathroom.... Usually, i do try to find positives ( there are always some), but this time round, when at checkout owner ask me or rather demanded only 10 for every aspect of review.... That simply was the final straw.... Some advice for owner- You have to put lots of work, to turn this place to one which is worth consideration. Your enthusiasm and kindness doesn't really count if your place look bad( not to say anything in a bad, offensive words...)

Best View in Ella

The view is gorgeous and Lucky is so nice & very helpful he provides amazing breakfast and helped me get the bus when I left. The room is large with a balcony and large windows so you have a constant view. Highly recommend staying here!

I stayed a few nights at Ella Lucky Panoramic and really appreciated it. It is simple and basic accommodation but the amazing view and the owner Lakshmans' hospitality made my stay in Ella very special. Room is clean and homestay is located a bit outside of the city. It is possible to take the bus to town which passes often or call a tuktuk. I walked and it took about 20 minutes, which I really liked. Lakshman is a beautiful soul who is kind and generous and made sure I was always happy with everything during my stay. He has big plans for this place that needed to be put on pause because of corona. This place will be even nicer when finished. I definitely recommend staying here!

Accomodation has awesome price/value ratio.

Mr. Lucky is extremely friendly and energetic man. We felt completely good in his companion. He also told us some things about jungle environment and hills you can see from hotel.

Everything is just fine. Just prepare for a lot of mosquitos, ants and lizzards in room and bathroom which are impossible to deal with.
