I dont think we will come back again!

The location was great, 5 minutes from Grand World and Vinwonders. We stayed here second time and were a bit disappointed this time.

The menu was very poor in the both restaurants. My daughter is coeliac and allergic to seafood and it was extremely hard to find anything in menu that she could eat! Overall food was very average even for us with no food allergies except for breakfast. Did you change your baker? I remember it was best bread department last year, now just average. So disappointing for 5* hotel. When you stay in 5* hotels you are expecting that the bedding will be changed everyday. It wasnt the case in Crown Plaza. I had to call to receptionist about it. Please do something with the air conditioning. Its so noisy and the bed is in a wrong position, so the cold air blows straight on your face.

The room was lovely. The bed was comfy. The view from the balcony to the beach was great at sunset, and the private beach was a great addition.

Staff were seemingly very overwelmed due to it being the Christmas period and service was very slow. Could take around 30 minutes to order a drink. Tried to book a vegetarian Christmas dinner which took about 5 staff, 3 different bookings and ended up on the Al A Carte menu despite booking to advise we celebrate Christmas and wanted to be part of the Christmas itinerary. Quite disappointed as their large selling point was the Christmas itinerary but as lovely as staff were they were very overwelmed and lacked communication between each other.

Good but there are points of improvement

The design of the hotel is very nice. Breakfast is amazing, the pool is nice.

I got very frustrated because the staff does not understand a word of English which made the communication very difficult and exhausting. In a 5 stars hotel having staff with a good level of English is a minimum I expect. In the bedroom there is no Netflix. The drinks are very expensive and the difference between what they charge and the price disclosed is very obscure. In addition, the beach was disgusting. They only clean the part right in front of the hotel. They charge 1.300.000 for their shuttle to the airport which is very expensive.

Good hotel but should clean the beach

The rooms are nice. The pool is nice. The breakfast is diverse and really good. The design of the restaurant very good.

The staff English level is very low. Some of them do not understand when you tell them the room numbers. There is no Netflix in the room. The drinks are quite expensive and you will find out that the price they put on the menu is not the final price you will pay. The beach is very dirty.

The service was very good. The room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the beach. There is direct access to the beach and the pool and beach amenities are really great.

The breakfast on the first day was not as good as expected, but that seems like a fluke as the subsequent days the breakfast was amazing. There were minor issues like the aircon not being really cold and the toilet having a weird smell, but those were easily resolved once we let the reception know about them.

Fantastic hotel in a nice, quiet location with a great private beach and v. friendly staff!

This is a really fantastic hotel, located in a nice and quiet part of Phu Quoc, away from the busy centre of the island. The resort is very nice, but not as big as others and so you always get a quick, friendly and personal service from the staff. Upon arriving at the hotel, a welcome drink was given by the staff which was very nice. The room was big, spacious, modern and very clean, and the same for the bathroom. The balcony was great, with very nice views overlooking the pool and the sea. The facilities in the hotel are great, with a games room, kids area, fitness centre, big pool area, 2 restaurants with a wide menu and good drinks, and also a private beach with security and clean sands and sea water. This is the perfect location to see the sunset, and would highly recommend speaking to the staff at the beach restaurant as they can arrange a tapas/drinks picnic to watch the sunset. The hotel also arranges a free shuttle bus to and from the airport, but if your flight times don't meet this, then you can get a free bus from the airport to a nearby report and then a very short caddy/taxi to the Crowne Plaza. The breakfast at this hotel is a big highlight, and there is such a wide variety of choices, and all the food is all very fresh and well prepared. The best part of this hotel though are the staff who are all so genuine, friendly and helpful, the hotel is lucky to have such great staff. I want to thank in particular Nhan, Gin, Ngoc (Jade), An (Tomato), An (Andy), Chi and Danish who went above to make the stay extra special. They would remember drink selections, foods and recommend things to do in Phu Quoc and on mainland Vietnam which was very helpful. Gin and Ngoc (Jade) even personally said goodbye upon check-out and provided complimentary refreshments for the journey to the airport which was a nice touch. The spa was also very nice and I highly recommend the massages. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
