Excellent room, friendly staff but check-in check-out seriously needs improvement

Excellent room, great location, nice lounge

1. Check-in staff at the lounge didt have info in some way that the booking was paid and she charged the deposit with my credit card at 30,000 baht for 2 nights. I was curious at first that the damage deposit was high but hotels in Bangkok normally asked for damage deposit around 2,000-5,000 baht per night, so Conrad maybe higher. 2. During check out, the staff refunded the deposit amount asked for the payment again. This disappointed me as the 5-star hotel top of Hilton brand does not have the system that verifies the payment was already made through booking.com and there was no double check or provided details of the deposit, just asked for the card so I didnt really understand the deposit was for the accomodation or the damage. 3. I insisted to have the parking ticket waived for the parking fee before leaving, the check-out staff confirmed it was complete. When we approached the way out, the parking fee cost 4,300 baht. The staff at the exit asked us to call the hotel, gave the plate no. and they will lift the fee, we were told this already happened to many hotel customers on that day. Yes, the parking ticket system of the hotel also failed.

Can't go wrong with Conrad

Luxury environment and great facilities! We visited Conrad for our second time and we are glad we did! King corner room is spacious with a beautiful bathtab next to the wondow to enjoy the view! Swimming pool with a jacuzzi area, gym with a sauna,relaxation without compromise! Angela from Events was courteous enough to engage in conversation with us while we were waiting for our taxi and she did so with a smile! First class lady!

Quite a pleasant stay

Quite accessible as there is free shuttle bus that will drop off at the bts station. Room is spacious and clean.

Housekeeping can be improved as some days we found there are no room slippers after the room makeup.

the pool area and the spa. the hotel staff at a restaurant always seemed so friendly and helpful.

the smell on the floors ..I literally didnt breathe at the corridors upstairs. The furniture in rooms is also quite old.

Extremely comfortable stay in an excellent hotel with fab pool and gym and breakfast!

The room was a great size and so clean with fresh huge towels every day . The breakfast was tremendous- absolutely everything you could want .The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Patrick the door man who was excellent at organising taxis etcGood location safe and easy to get to by local taxi .

very smooth and pleasant.

room was comfortable. there was a good selection for breakfast. location was good. skytrain was a 7-minute walk away but there is a shuttle from hotel to terminus (and return) every 15 minutes. unfortunately I was not able to use it - my timings always seemed to be in-between the shuttle timings. facilities are reasonable.
