Relaxing New Year's break

Lovely interior design, great spa area, easy-going vibe

Poorly managed, everything seems chaotic and inconsistent, from the service at breakfast where it is not clear if the waiter clears your plates (they don't), brings you a coffee or not (I never got asked in 5 days and others got drinks brought to them all the time, which didn't make me feel good), to the room service where the rooms were often not done at 3 or even 5pm (seriously?!), to the bar man who is sooo disengaged from the people (what does one need to do to get a drink?), to the chaotic email exchange with reception and reservations (I had to chase replies on numerous occasions, tried ringing no answer, emailed again, frustration), it is just for the high price paid, service doesn't match. Lacking proper leadership. No-one seems accountable for anything. We enjoyed our stay but service needs to be better.

Location was good Some staff were good

Unhelpful staff Rooms were not cleaned We were a couple on our anniversary stay, we informed the hotel before our arrival and we was offered 2 single beds The room was not cleaned until 4pm on our second days stay and that was after we complained This is not a 4 star resort

Superb

Amazing hotel with the perfect location and facilities.. the ideal hotel to stay in 100%. Stayed there for our honeymoon .. very cosy and great with a nice spa.

Everything was great but 1 issue was room service requests. anything we wanted we had to go and collect from the reception.. and room service charges were almost 20 euros if you wanted to order food.
