It was nice but manager was not reasonable

The location was good

The staff were not clear about their laundry service. They advised on cleaning my laundry as their washing machine and dryer wasnt working. They said they would send it to house keeping for drying with no extra charge. Upon checkout they wanted to charge me $180. They went back on what our agreement was. Their laundry machines are slow and do not wash and dry property. Go not use this service.

Pure incompetence of a little lady who made us the check-out

Cleaning personnel extremely friendly and professional because all are PORTUGAL citizens.

Pure Incompetence The little lady who made us the check-out was extremely INCOMPETENT because she didn't know how to print a invoice and above of all told us that SUNSTAR HOTEL & SPA Grindelwald don't give invoices. WoW...typically "Swiss made" intended to "hide something that all world knows", a perfect mind-set. The indoor swimming pool the water it is extremely cold!!! Do not advise book this hotel if you are searching for hot indoor swimming pool. The "Grindelwald Guest Card" it is ONLY valid for bus inside of Grindelwald (Bus 121, 122, 124), not more because Hotel reception desk told us there is discounts...of what!!??

My favourite hotel in Grindelwald!

The staff absolutely make this place exceptional! The hotel facilities are also fantastic, and the hotel is in a great location (across from the Firstbahn, with the bus stop directly across from the hotel). Really enjoyed the spa facilities and services, and would highly recommend this hotel if travelling with pets.

Lovely staff - wonderful place - used to bring our children to Grindelwald every year but its so expensive in Switzerla

Location is excellent Very spacious lounge area - good restaurants

Lovely relaxing stay at Sunstar Hotel

Loved the wellness area. The steam rooms and the sauna. Great restaurant. Staff are excellent.

That the property did not supply slippers anymore and wants to sell you something instead. Not good for a four star hotel.

My first time in Grindlwald and somewhere l would love to visit again. Nice little town and a train ride away from other

Lovely large room overlooking the mountains, in a quiet part of the hotel. Breakfast buffet had everything you could want. Spa facilities were very relaxing.
