Comfortable but not worth returning.

Size of the apartment. The pool and spa.

The shower screen didn't stop the water from flowing on to the bathroom floor. The general smell of the communal areas (corridors, lifts, etc.) The fact that a number of the gym equipment was not working properly.

It was spacious, good view of the pool, good location for what we required.

The property had no water usage on check out day from 8am. We only got notified this on the day however we were told by members who live there that they knew the water would be off weeks ago. We asked the reception what happens as we did pay full price and we got told to email through

Disappointing

Disappointed in the state of the unit. Outside area was nice. Grossly overpriced. Wouldn't return.

Accommodation had plenty of space, had very nice surroundings outside, pool area was very nice with its own little sandy beach, and BBQ area. Was really nice seeing families enjoying this area. Shared spa pool was lovely and a good size if others were using it. Liked that there was a washer dryer in the unit but 7.5 hours to wash a load was a bit crazy. Pulled everything out after 4 hours and hung it on the supplied airer. Worked out ok.

Cleaners need some training, that's if they had been there at all prior to our stay. Beds were all clean and made up but the kitchen doors, handles and fridge door were all filthy. Covered in sticky hand prints, clearly had not been cleaned from last people. Was very disappointing to have to go through everywhere and clean all the surfaces, doors and handles before we felt comfortable. The phone was black from filthy hands, looked like it had never been cleaned. The couch cushions were stained and smelled of old sweat. One of the outside foot stools legs collapsed when we moved it. It was obvious it was broken prior and was balanced there. The walls were all scuffed and marked and the doors had a build up of hand filth from a long time of use. The place is in desperate need of a good clean and a paint job. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was disgusting. When we turned it on we could see the mould build up in the filters. Blinds in the second room were down, couldn't pull them up because the chain has come off it's runner. Positive - They did come straight away to fix this but felt that this was a basic thing to check between guests. Had to go back to reception to ask for a second fob to get in and out as if one goes out with the only one we had the other can't go in out of any facilities, such as the pool area. Plus side is that it is very secure. For what they charge it was very disappointing. It was way overpriced for the experience we had and we would definitely not spend that sort of money to stay there again. Other things you could do to improve: there was no coffee plunger. Had to go out to the local Kmart to buy one. This is a basic $10 item that would be appreciated by guests. There was no option for pool towels that we could see. Only your 1 per guest white bathroom towel. Fortunately there is a dryer that you can use if you use your one and only towel for the pool and want it again for your shower in the morning.
