Dont even think about staying here

Theres not a single thing I could think of that I liked about the property.

The room was literally the size of my bed. I couldnt find space to put my bag down, and the room was shorter than me so sleeping was uncomfortable. The whole area seems super dodgy. Lifts take forever to get, the building is full of suspicious looking rude people who will cut the line to the lift so watch out. I regretted staying there so much. I met a guy who just gave up on the money and booked somewhere else on the first day. Definitely overpriced for what it was! Find somewhere else. Or at least look up the building name on Wikipedia before you book it. Its the biggest tourist trap in HK.

Good option for your money

Very friendly staff. The room was cleaned periodically, towels were changed, consumables were added. The location is excellent - the waterfront with stunning views of Victoria Harbor is very close, as is the Kowloon area and many other interesting places. Hong Kong hotel prices are super high, so this is a very good budget option.

The room is very small and without windows it makes a depressing impression - this must be kept in mind. The building is not in very good condition, quite dirty, with queues for the elevators and rather dubious characters on the ground floor.

Very good

Centrally located near the train station, easy walk though some stairs in exit C2 from the train. Lift to 20th floor B block easy to navigate. Great solo room with single bed. Clean and good vibe. Staff very lovely.

Arriving at night is intimidating. Ground floor of the mansion is a market and very busy. People hawking accommodation. AC was adequate, room needs airing (slight damp smell but no evidence as very clean).

Don't come inside here

The location is good next to the Avenue of Stars in Kowloon.

The bedroom was really small. The toilet and the shower share the same room. The bed is not really comfortable. There is too hot inside the room even with the AC on because of the noise you would have to turn if off in order to sleep. Also there is a lot of humidity inside the room. Totally not worth the price. I felt like I was living the real Hong Kong experience since the city seemed oppresive and thought I wouldn't make it alive.

Would choose this place again :)

The staff was very kind and helpful. In my first room the wifi connection kept breaking off, and after trying a couple of fixes, I got assigned a new room. Towels were provided, the room felt spaceous for HK, and the cleaning service was good. Location was great. Also, good place to get indian food.

Well, at this price you gotta save space somewhere, so the showers are in the same room as the toilet. This means the seat would be wet regularly, because of people showering. Tissue was provided and albeit for me unusual, everything worked. Wifi could be stronger in the rooms. The queue on the elevators could be long (not their fault though), and Chungking mansion (the place the hostel is in) is not very clean.

Friendly hostel, staff, clean hostel

For a hostel, hong one standards, very nice. Clean and small. _Ideal place for those first visitors and singles. I was able to book 1 hour before and get someone hotel open. The bathroom is outside room and shared but very clean,.

This is Hong Kong, if look hostel makes friends and go out, not ideal places. there is no social events, Wish was group app so people could join and make more sociable. I had great time anyway, The metro is closed by 2 stops from central Tokyo.
