The staffs are very kind and friendly

I think a little bit pricey.It might be because of the holiday reason and I can understand that.This is the only thing though I didnt like about the property .Except this everything was perfect .

Hotel currently undergoing inside construction

Location. We were able to get a bus to North Bridge easily.

We were very dissatisfied with our stay as the hotel is currently undergoing somekind of construction and we were greeted to a large skip on the driveway, followed by the hallway carpet covered in plastic and a huge plywood door and fixture. Workmen were obviously present at the hotel on day of arrival and day we left. Had we been informed of this before booking we would have chosen a different hotel, however unable to cancel on arrival as would have lost the 90 paid. No staff were present at property thoughout the stay even though work was being carried out. Just a number to call in case of emergencies and an email to advise which room we were staying in and a pass code we needed to retrieve the key. Room was okay but roof above bay window was unsightly due to damp, possibly a leak from room above. Ensuite was a false walled addition inside the room but as the shower extractor wasn't great you could see damp forming on the decorative ceiling above the bathroom.

Tee and coffee in the room. Liquid soaps in the shower. Towels.

There were noises of water all night in the room 10, it was annoying.

Comfortable and good value for money

Close to bus stop which was good, took about 30-40 mins to walk in to the city centre. Room was a good size and quiet.

Room only came with two pillows rather than 4. No reception area to enquire about more.

The check in could be smoother..perhaps email the instructions rather than struggle to hear instructions over the intercom.
