The room was specious and clean

Over priced and false promises!. There is no proper lake view or facilities they mentioned available in the room.

The private boat ride, the location and the staff was cooperative.

Washroom was not as clean as would have liked. Only AC was available in the room. Most of the charging points were non functional.

Good experience

The location of the stay is awesome. Also they have their own boat and can take you around the backwaters. Hospitality was really good.

Can improve rooms with extra towels. Since its water side cant avoid mosquitoes in the evening

Great value for money

The view from the homestay over the backwaters was amazing. Our host organised a 3 hour shikara ride for us for sunrise and picked us up from the homestay which was very handy. For what we paid, it was excellent.

The path down to the homestay was not great and dark at night, would not recommend for a solo traveller. The host, although very nice, did not have much English and it was a bit difficult to communicate. The rooms also could have been cleaner and there was a slight smell to them

Superb

Loved the place really out of the way, quiet and great atmosphere. They have boats, so you dont need to worry about all that. Owner is very friendly and helpful.

Its a walk to get there (rickshaws cant get there) so if you carry a lot of luggage its a bit difficult to arrive and depart (we experienced).
