Beautiful way to see the Keralan backwaters.

Everything! The location was amazing being right on the peaceful backwaters, the style of the properties filled with unique and interesting sculptures, and the attentiveness of David and his team to ensure we had everything we needed during our stay.

A perfect spot, well worth a visit!

Absolutely loved our stay here. We were able to get to know the wonderful team who couldn't have done more to make our stay feel special and run smoothly. Drinking 'Toddy' with David's family was a holiday highlight for us! A perfect setting with some of the most delicious food we had during our travels around Kerala. And the team also helped to arrange a speed boat trip around the backwaters (in the absence of houseboat availability).

A unique experience

Such a unique and charming place ! It felt like time had stopped. Staff was absolutely great with us. We really enjoyed the 3 hours private boat tour. They also arranged a romantic candlelight dinner for us. Room is well decorated with a small pool and gorgeous views on the river. Definitely recommend !

Unforgettable experience!

We had the most wonderful two nights at Sunsets and Palms. It couldn't be in a more idyllic setting - right by the river surrounded by nature. We had the cottage with the jacuzzi and it was incredible! David and Suneesh were fantastic hosts and looked after our every need; the boat trip they organised for us was an unforgettable experience! Next time we're back in Kerala we'll definitely come to stay here again!

Best stay ever

Everything about the stya is great. We were looking for a place where we can spend some time together. This place was exceptional. Privacy was ensured. The surroundings were so beautiful. Food was homely and the staff were really committed.

There is nothing I found I dislike about the stay.

Beautiful location and host who will make you feel very welcome

Tasteful and quirky room decor adds to the charm of these little villas. Location is fantastic, has a relaxing vibe with the backwaters and houseboats cruising along right at your doorstep. The owner David's warm personality will make you feel very welcome. He even provided us excellent travel suggestions for the next leg of our trip which was a fantastic recommendation.

Breakfast was good, but the dinner was slightly on the pricier side and not sufficient for us. The rooms need to be aired out, exterior needs a bit more maintenance especially during rainy months. Just a general comment not specific to the property - Watch out for the massive mosquitoes after sundown! They come with the territory. Odomos is your best friend!
