Not value for money.

Beach view, near the railway station

Rats, no mosquito nets, no maintaining the property, no facilities such as wifi, clean drinking water, toiletry. Foreigners treated well but not given importance or patience to listen to us. A big no if you are going for this stay

Beach stay, calm and welcoming

Right on beach, not far from train station, good breakfast. Very helpful and kind hosts who invited guests to Christmas Eve dinner! Yvette also organized a superb private backwater trip.

Note that access from train station passes through a construction zone but this does not at all interfere with the calm location of this homestay

One of the best homestays we have stayed at.

Very welcomming and helpfull hosts, really nice, clean and spacious bungalow with view to the sea, filtered drinking water, A/C etc. Excellent homemade indian (sea)food everyday, excellent local breakfast, help to arrange boattrip etc. Quiet place - Take a rickshaw (100-200 INR) to the city center.

The owner of this property is very much arrogant

Mr. Jeyachandran is nice. Only concern is he didn't fixed AC & TV until we leave. SUGGESTION WOULD DON'T PREFER

The property is very interior and there is no AC, TV, WIFI not working.. We are working professionals. Without this we cannot stay. FOOD is toooooooo costly, they charged 1150 for 11 chappathi's and 5 plates of Dhal. Even in ITC chola Chennai we didn't this much.

Good

Hosts are very friendly and will help you with any questions you have. Will also help you if you need to book cab or ask about tips for boating and other things. They will serve you nice breakfast and make you feel homely. Wifi and AC works like a charm. Also, they have very friendly dogs and cat.

Little could be done better with lighting in the room and also bedsheets and duvets. Everything except this is fine.

Welcoming and friendly

Brilliant homestay, made me feel like a part of their family. Best breakfast and definitely best chutneys!!! Clean and simple homestay right on the beach only 15 min walk from the train station. Yvette helped me with activities and kayaking on canals is an absolute must. Very happy to come back !

I like that the place is near to the railway station and the beach. The place makes you feel like living in home. Fantastic place , kind and jovial hosts :)
