Excellent Stay in Seattle

Loved the location near The Paramount. Parking is spendy but also super convenient. Very clean and comfortable. I also scored an excellent rate likely due to time of year.

Restaurant didnt seem open or no one was using it at 930pm.

Great breakfast buffet and the front desk had earplugs available. It felt secure with a room key needed for after hours access. The room was nice and clean.

Double-charged and still no reimbursement still, days later.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the location was perfect.

I tried to check-in online but noticed that the card listed on file was not mine or one that I was familiar with at all (certainly not the one I had paid with) so I had to call to have them change it. After check-out, I found that I had been charged twice: once when I booked, weeks before the stay, and then AGAIN when we checked out after our 1-night stay (even after explaining to the front desk upon check-in that I'd already paid in full). I called the hotel to inquire and was given an incorrect email address which bounced my email back so I had to call yet again to get the correct email address to their accounting department who still has not reached out to me or reimbursed me for the erroneous second charge of almost $200; ridiculous and very unprofessional. Good thing I watch my account so closely!! Also, when I booked the room, the listing said "free, secure parking" which was a lie. It ended up costing over $50 to park for one night. I explained this to the concierge upon check-in, who did not care or offer to comp us due to false advertisement (this one literally one of my filters when researching hotels). The lighting situation in the room was very strange; a master switch had to be found and turned on before any other lights could be used. Also, the floor separator between the "kitchen" and carpet was installed wrong and made a loud noise whenever it was stepped on. The bathroom door did not have a lock and there was mold on the ceiling, see attached. In addition, around 10-11pm my friend was in the lobby when 4 men and a women, all in black ski masks caused a huge commotion and mess after presumably, committing a crime in the hotel and then they all ran out the front doors. The front desk worker did nothing and it was pretty scary for the guests who were present, including my friend.

Efficient because of Residence Inn. Comfortable and relaxed.

Location and overall nice amenities

Parking $45. I hate when urban hotels price gauge or go for the money grab. I am staying at your hotel, let me park for nothing or something more reasonable like $19 or less.
