Obvious stains on pillows, as well as mugs with pineapple on it. didn't record them but definitely gross. . a staff was mopping the floor when we walked in but didn't react to people until we went up to ask. The air conditioner was extremely loud, especially at night when it went off after a while. There was also a wait to check out and the front desk always seemed to be short staffed, and no smile at all during all service.

Location was excellent, right on the Ave and an easy walk to UW

Area around the hotel had some Homeless on the sidewalks, but it was not really an issue. Overall I felt safe and it was only 2 blocks to the Ave

I will NOT return

The location was convenient to the university. The parking was a huge plus and a secure underground lot. The staff was friendly but the room left a lot to be desired.

The room was oddly appointed: tile floor throughout with only a thin carpet between the beds. The bathroom sink was cracked. The bathroom was outdated - like an old Holiday Inn. The beds were oddly made, in my opinion: only fitted sheets and pillow cases; there was no top sheet. Instead, there was a heavy blanket intended to be used by one person (as there were two on each of the queen beds in the room). Not advised if you sleep hot. The in-room coffee was horrible and did not get replaced / updated on Day 2, so there was no sugar or coffee for the morning. I expected a helluva lot more for $600/night.

Friendly and clean. Helpful staff. Suites very comfortable for longer stays. Reasonable rate for area. Although not free, the parking garage was very nice, clean, well lit, secure, and felt safe.

Duvet bedding is way too hot, and uncomfortable for tall persons...need to advise regular bedding is available before checkin, not after visit. Unexpected very large "security deposit" required. This needs to be disclosed prior to booking. Observed someone surprised at check-in who had not planned for, and did not have hundreds of extra dollars beyond the advertised rate for this fairly expensive hotel. All fees should be disclosed on booking sites.
