    I can really recommend this place for backpackers or solo travellers!
    Thom is a very nice host and super helpful when it comes to organizing everything for your local activities - I can recommend them! I booked a French-Double-Bed which I really enjoyed due to more space.
    If the dorm room is filled with six people, it can be very hot at night. Washroom could be cleaner, but for India its okay.

    Good base for backwaters expirience
    Probable the best host I ever meet. Very helpfull with everything. I went on a backwater trip for 1000 rupies, recomend to go there. Canals are very beatifull place.
    No spot to cook in the kithen.

    Location is near to the beach, the owner seems nice but money minded.
    The bunks were crowded, there was hardly any space to move around in the room. Beds were dirty with no bed sheet. The blanket provided was too small even for a 5'9" guy. There was construction going on right outside the dorms which was creating a lot of dust and noise, I think the owner should close the place until construction completes. There was no tissue or dustbin in the common washroom. There was no view, no common area to sit except for the front porch of the house. Also it was surprising that the place had no AC.

    location is great and the host super nice
    location close to the beach. host arranged the canoe tour and gave me tips on things to do
    the fans in the room were not sufficient to deal with the humidity there. i was sweating during the sleep

    the owner uncle are very much friendly. small dry kitchen area provided for tea/coffee making. please bring own toiletries as this is dorm stay.
