Day 1: Self drive from Bangalore to Kabini

Rent a self-drive car from Bangalore. Stop at Sree Renukambha Bidadi Thatte idli for breakfast for yummy soft idlis. It is quite basic so skip it if you are looking for hygiene, bathroom etc. For lunch, stop at Vinayaka Mylari in Mysore. Again a basic place but great dosas.

Check into the resort


Check-in is at 1:00 pm. Rooms are beautiful and luxurious.

Enjoyed a quick swim in the pool

Relaxed with Spa and Wellness


Next, head to the spa for Aroma and Swedish massages.

Bonfire Dinner!


The signature event at Waterwoods after the rains. Barbeque dinner by the river under a starry sky was just the relaxing experience you are looking for.

Day 2: Safari, Swimming and Board Games

Breakfast included in our package and it was a buffet of South Indian delicacies and pancakes and omelettes.

See herds of elephants, hundreds of spotted deer, bison and peacocks. The Karnataka Forest Departments conducts safaris in the morning and evening at these 6.30 am & 3.30 pm.

Relaxed in our room till lunch


Lunch is a massive buffet with both veg and non-veg dishes. The ingredients are locally sourced and delicious

Went back to the pool for a swim

Enjoyed some board games and played pool


Recreational activities such as pool table, caroms and scrabble, are available

Day 3: Check out and head back to Bangalore

Have breakfast and checked out of your room by 11 am

Drive back to Bangalore


Stop at De Parathzzaa cafe along the way for some great North Indian food
