Totally mismanaged and unprofessional handling by the tour operator. Totally unsatisfactory.
This review is written to benefit those who are planning to take tour operator’s services for their upcoming vacation tour. Read it fully and carefully.
We were on 9 nights, 10 Days Himachal tour in April. Our itinerary was finalized by Himalayan Holidays arranged by Ms. Mohini. Such kind of long holiday (Read More) tours are enjoyed only if stay is comfortable and if all the destination places are covered comfortably. So, Hotels and Conveyance are the two most important part of the tour and we always hope that the tour operators will provide these two to make our tour enjoyable.
Hotels: We finalized the hotels as follows as per the itinerary:

Hotels Category - Premium 2
Chandigarh (1 Night) Hotel Royal Park Chandigarh
Shimla (1 Night) Hotel Royal Regency Shimla
Manali (3 Nights) Hotel Village Venue Manali
Dalhousie (2 Nights) Hotel Comfort Court Dalhousie
Dharamshala (2 Night) Hotel The Crown Dharamshala

Comments:
Leave aside Central Heated Rooms no ac rooms were provided at Shimla and Dalhousi. Manali hotel ac was having technical glitch. Separate feedback has been given for each individual hotel. Hotels were good (Except Manali) but the rooms provided were ordinary. No toiletries like dental kit, shaving kit, hair dryer etc were provided in hotels except Chandigarh. These do not come under Luxury hotel rooms? Manali hotel did not even provide soaps. Dharamshala hotel was 15-16 km away from all the tourist spots. I was told “how does it matter? You are provided with vehicle”. But what about convenience, time etc? Not only that, the driver refused to take the car twice near the spot.
Conveyance:
As promised a Swift Desire was provided. But no ac at hill stations. The driver was totally disinterested in the tour. Many places he did not take us at all. E.g. at Shimla he did not take even one spot out of the spots as below.
Shimla Local Sightseeing :
• Mall Road • The Ridge Madan • Christen Church • Wood Market • Gaiety Theatre • Scandal Point • Kali Wari Temple • Jakhoo Temple
He did not stop at Atal Tunnel also. Took us to Sissu Lake saying that we can cover Atal tunnel spot while returning. But he did not stop while returning even our insisting.
At Dharamshala driver refused to visit near Mcleodganj market where he took us once. But other spots, which were only nearby the market, he refused. We had to take ropeway for the market and he waited at the ropeway down. Same he did at Shimla too.
General Comments:
The tour was completely mismanaged. The glimpse we could get on the first day itself when at Chandigarh the driver took us to a hotel where our rooms were not booked at all. Services at hotel rooms and of the car driver were totally unsatisfactory. None of the hotel provided with hotel bills saying that the same will be shared with the tour operators. Fine. But the operator also did not share with the bill. Why? Where the money has gone. Is it unaccounted? Ms. Mohini always contacted only when she required some payment to be made. Never she enquired about the tour. About Manali hotel when we informed, she texted on WhatsApp that she will talk. Then she said she would send someone. But nothing was done.
So, for the tourists, they must be particular about rooms (AC), Car(AC) and if services are not provided then what.

many thanks for making such a trip possible. The organisation, the effectiveness, the planning and on top. We felt so comfortable although being so far from home. Everything worked out in time and per (Read More)fectly; We felt very safe and were treated well. The car was always clean, washed was very much appreciated from our side.
Once more, many thanks for all of the above mentioned but also for the perfect service at the airport, both when arriving and dropping.

First of all the Communication from the Agent was top notch clear and transparent.
Secondly the way everything was planned from Sightseeing to hotel rooms. It was all very well managed and was according to the need. And Last the Money. The entire trip was too budget friendly as a matter of fact the services given comparatively the budget was too good.

These are inexperienced and unprofessional 1-2 people running the business. We had booked Himachal package with them in May 2023. They made mistakes in lot of things. They told us that they have their (Read More) own cabs and drivers but they had hired from outside. We had specifically asked for good condition Toyota Etios for safety and comfort but they provided poorlymaintained old Honda Amaze. Had to fight for everything. Very poor cab service and cheap hotels. In 38 deg outside the driver was not ready to switch on ac and we fall sick due to long traveling like this and cancelled the trip midway and had to stay at different hotels for 2 days at our own additionalexpenses. Also driver was not ready to help us to find food we can eat. We had specifically added Rohtang but had to fight for that. They talk very rudely and in a very unprofessional manners. All our time, money,energy wasted because we made a mistake by choosing them.

Firstly, I would like to thank Mohini our trip manager for making this wonderful journey happen through the Himalayan holidays. This company is genuine both in terms of the arrangements and as well as (Read More) money. I am from chennai and took cab package from Delhi to shimla and Manali and then return back to Delhi. It was fun overall. She ensured that we are kept connected with them all through the trip despite language barrier in order to avoid any trouble with the driver. Am totally happy and price is reasonable and would definitely recommend tour package with this company for all people who are planning further.

This is good experience with " The Himalayan Holidays " We had booked the tour for Shimla, Kullu and Manali from the Himalayan Holidays and Parveen helped us to explore places with there package incl (Read More)uding stay, meal and travel car for sightseeing with Driver Vicki. In Shimla we have stay in "Shimla Aplin Hilden" hotel was good and staff also polite, the food also nice, hotel location is so far but nature view from hotel balcony is mesmerizing. everyday Parveen co ordinate with us for any issues we are facing or not with stay and food and tour, he is very nice guy and polite and have very well understanding for what customer need. Also the driver Vicki have good knowledge of places he guide us also while travelling, he is very polite, have well understanding and keeping the value of customer.Aplin Retreat Hotel and there staff also very nice in Manali who booked by "The Himalayan Holidays ".
