The choice of hotels was good & driver guide Mr. Nasrullah was very supportive.
The travel company didn’t provide estimated cost of entry tickets and expenses not included in the package but recommended to enjoy from visitors own cost. If they provide this, it would be easy to know rough estimate of budget.

I recently travelled with Shine Lanka Holidays and had an absolutely wonderful experience! We visited six beautiful destinations – Colombo, Kandy, Sigiriya, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, and Bentota – and I got (Read More) to choose all the places I wanted to explore. The team was incredibly patient, flexible, and supportive throughout the planning and the trip.
They guided us thoroughly at every step, and made sure we were comfortable and informed. The hotel bookings were excellent, with every room being clean, well-located, and just as promised. Transportation was smooth the entire time – punctual, safe, and stress-free.

We are senior citizens from Mumbai and were in Sri Lanka for 8 days. We had hired Shine Lanka to handle our itinerary and I must admit that they did a fantastic job.
We were met at the airport on time (Read More) and we had an excellent car with a very safe driver named Sathir who drove us around SL for 8 days. We were provided with 5 star hotels at all the 4 places namely …Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Bentota n Colombo . Our priority was 5 star hotels and a good car with a safe driver as the trip involved a lot of driving. We had absolutely no hiccups right through our trip as Mr. Inshaf coordinated with Mr Sathir all along ensuring we were safe. I would highly recommend Shine Lanka as a Trip advisor to anyone who wishes to visit Sri Lanka on a holiday.

I recently visited Sri Lanka with Shine Lanka Holidays, and unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. Here are some key issues I encountered during my 5-day, 4-night trip: Itinerary Mismanagement: The trip started on a poor note. After arriving in Colombo at 1:30 PM, it took nearly 5 hours to reach Sigiriya, leaving Day 1 completely unproductive. On Day 2, we only managed to vi (Read More)sit Sigiriya Rock and Dambulla Cave Temple while en route to Kandy. The driver suggested a lunch spot, which turned out to be disappointing. Uncooperative Driver and Host: The driver was argumentative and repeatedly mentioned that the itinerary should have been for 8 days, despite us having booked a 5-day trip. Requests to adjust the plan, such as taking the Ella route or stopping briefly at a beach, were met with rude responses. The host (Insaaf) was equally unhelpful and seemed uninterested in resolving any concerns. Madu River Boat Safari: The safari was another letdown. While it cost $30 per person, additional charges for activities (e.g., taking a photo with a crocodile) were sprung on us unexpectedly. The overall experience felt rushed and poorly coordinated. Additional Charges: Despite not covering much of the promised itinerary, we were asked to pay extra for airport drop-off via Colombo City, even though we hadn't explored the city properly. Positives: Tips for Future Travelers: It’s better to plan your own itinerary and avoid relying on such tours, especially for Indian travelers. Exchange currency at the airport for better rates; the local exchange rates were as low as 3.2 for INR. Be cautious, as some services and activities seemed overly commercialized and overpriced.

Note:Srilanka Government has no Control on Product MRP (Water Bottles, Soft Drinks, Food items and it’s very expensive on some places) especially for other country travellers every where charges are in Dollars.. We request Travel Agencies need to put some pressure on government to do some necessary changes to boost travel economy for Country…… above information is as per my travel experience Please don’t take it bad
