What's Good: We went to Kashmir in Dec’24 and booked our holidays through GreyStar Tour And Travels. Ms. Suzain had helped in managing everything from hotel and Gandola bookings to other travel (Read More) needs. She was in continuous touch with us during our stay and made sure everything goes smoothly. We had very comfortable stay and very tasty food in all our hotels. Our driver Mr. Shalla Imran was also very nice guy. He guided us throughout the trip and suggested some good shopping place and helped a lot arranging cake for our kids birthday. Both Suzain and Imran also helped us during our unexpected extended period due to snowfall and sudden flight cancellation. We had a memorable holidays of this Heaven on Earth with GreyStar tour and travel

What's Good: Worst travel experience with travel company GREYSTAR TOUR AND TRAVELS and Ayan Transportation (specially Driver: Parvez ).
1. While booking they promised for 3 star Hotels as we (Read More)have made clear instruction that we are travelling with infant hence we require proper heating with stay, the Hotels and Boat house they provided were like worst OYO , with no proper heating, which was basic need in that cold weather of -7 to -8 degree. (Result my kid got fever and cold).
2. Worst transportation by Ayna transportation first day driver Billal was good but from the second day they provided Parvez new driver,who doesn't have intention to at least take us to the accommodations as well as sight seen commited as part of package (infact misleading travel agency and tourist) .
They change the driver without asking our wishes. They change the vehicle in between tours.
3.we experience snowfall which was expected in the month of December but this travel agency greystar could not arrange chain vehicles to reach hotels and as well as sight seen spots.(which we were ready to pay from our pocket). We missed visiting Gulmarg and patnitop by just 2 km as they could not arrange chain vehicles , whereas other travel agencies were able to arrange these vehicles for their guests as we witness that.I can write more but feel like why to waste more time.
To summarise:
They talk nice before booking and making payments .
They are not capable of fulfilling what they committed.
The travel agency completely relay on driver info and sources who only bluff them and only want to stay in srinagar always
We spent almost 80% of our time traveling and the rest of the time in hotel and thanks to bilal for sonmarg.
Committed itinerary :
The package includes pick up from jammu to srinagar, sonmarg ,Gulmarg , pahalgam, patnitop and drop to jammu. 6 day .no suggestion from travel agency . All sight seen and cab to reach the hotel back and forth was committed in the package.
Actual itinerary:
pick up from jammu to srinagar, sonmarg sight seen , stay in srinagar houseboat worst one , depart to Gulmarg stuck in Tangmarg (not able to arrange chain vehicle), pahalgam roads were blocked driver mislead that road is open and take us back till srinagar (instead we could do Gulmarg tour). Arranged a pathetic hotel in srinagar . Next day driver was not ready to leave srinagar we forced to left srinagar reached till patnitop just 2 kms away in a changed vehicle. Again they could not arrange chain vehicle and made a temporary arrangement in katra. Next day morning again a change vehicle and drop to jammu airport.
My suggestion:
1. Do not book the package with them if you are travelling to Kashmir.
2.should take strict action towards them and should compensate us with first priority.
3. All prior Payments should be kept with agency and should be released to travel agencies after travellers confirmation . In our situation since the payment was done already. we were left with no option.
That one star is for billal khan the first driver, otherwise I could have given a zero

Thank you so much for the review you provided us. If we made any mistakes, we will correct them in the future to ensure that no client faces any issues. However, we would like to clarify that the conf (Read More)irmation you received in the PDF was the same as the voucher, and you stayed in the same hotels that were booked for you. You did not face any issues for three days, even though you were forgetting things from Day 1, and we were assisting you in retrieving them, which you didn’t mention.
On Day 1, your stay was at Palazzo Zafferano, where you left a bottle belonging to liquar. The next day, when you checked out, the driver had to come from a long distance to retrieve it. On Day 2, your stay was at the Sher-i-Kashmir 4-star houseboat, which you described as poor, and you also left a pouch there. Despite the - 6 temperature, we made every effort to retrieve it and hand it over to you. Everywhere you went, you left something behind, and the drivers had to travel long distances to bring them back.
Secondly, everyone knows how heavy the snowfall was. You insisted the driver take you to Gulmarg without chains on the vehicle, and due to the road being blocked and accidents caused by the snow, you got stuck. This was not our fault; it was due to nature. On the day you were supposed to travel from Gulmarg to Pahalgam, Md personally called you to inform that the Pahalgam road was blocked, and the driver Parvez also insisted, but you didn’t listen. You insisted on going anyway, and the driver eventually took you to Pahalgam, but the road was blocked, and we had to arrange an emergency stay for you in Srinagar, where everything was sold out due to flight cancellations. Despite that, we arranged a 3-star property for you, which was right across from Dal Lake.
Thirdly, when you left Srinagar for Patnitop, Parvez took you with a lot of risk. You saw with your own eyes that a truck had overturned due to slippery roads After that you Asked our manager to arrange a hotel for us in katra. even though it was 9 PM. We arranged a hotel for you there, and in Katra, we had a reservation at Clarks Inn, a 4-star premium property. I don’t understand why you are calling these properties poor. We arranged everything so quickly and ensured you didn’t have to stay on the road. After all this, you gave us such a poor review instead of showing appreciation. We have never received such complaints from anyone regarding our services, except from you.
At this time, we had 5 departures, and Alhamdulillah, we guided them very well, and they remembered us positively and gave good reviews. They are the kind of clients who understand the efforts made. We put in more effort for you than for them.
Well, we will try to provide even better service in the future, ensuring no complaints from our clients.

I highly recommend this travel agent to everyone who wants to plan their trip to Kashmir. Kashmir is one of my biggest dreams and I made the right decision to choose Greystar Tour and Travel for my tr (Read More)ip. They provide us with all the information about Kashmir before we deal with them. The package price was reasonable with the extraordinary service that they gave to us. We decided to stay 6 days and 5 nights and they arranged everything from pick up at the airport, accommodation, food, transportation, and many other things. They were available at any time we had questions or some problem.
On our first day at Srinagar, the heater at the hotel not working properly. We were concerned about the travel agency the next day the hotel staff provided us warmer blanket which made us very comfortable. The staff hotel is very friendly and helpful. They provided us with dinner in the room.
Our driver Muzamil was the best thing we had on our trip. He was a very nice person and provided us with all the information that we needed. He makes sure everything going well and does not allow a single mistake to happen. He told us what we needed to do and did not need to do while traveling to the place. He will make sure you enjoy your vacation without any regret.

Syed Suzain gave solution to all my problems. Syed Suzain mam guided me very well. Whatever information she had from pre-planning to during the trip, she gave it very well. Finally Srinagar to sonmarg to pahalgam to gulmarg to srinagar. All the trips were wonderful. Driver appointed by GREYSTAR TOUR AND TRAVELS Mr. Muzammil Bhai is a very wonderful person. He told in advance about all the trips and how to avoid the trap. I would say that GREYSTAR TOUR AND TRAVELS is a very good travel agent. For the first time when I talk with Syed Suzain. I was little bit worried that am I talking with right person for doing our trip to Kashmir but when I talked with her for sometime, she made me realise (Read More) that she is a genuine person and having correct knowledge of Kashmir and area around it.
