Very poor experience with the flamingo travels. They just took the money and didn't planned the trip accordingly. Poor car provided poor hotels provided. Driver was also not supportive. Just rushing f (Read More)rom one place to another.
Don't book with flamingo travels.
It was an excellent experience. The driver was an experienced person who guided us perfectly. I would like to take cab service again if I visit Sikkim again. Thank you so much.
Had such a nice experience for our Sikkim tour with Flamingo. Manoj from Flamingo was always there for us. He made sure that our permits are right on time and he also made sure that we have good cabs (Read More)to take us for Sikkim tour. Also the itinerary was so flexible that irrespective of coming in such a tight schedule, he made sure that our trip was a memorable one with all the adjustments done internally without hindering our trip.

We spoke to different organisers before choosing flaming tours as the price was more reasonable here. The communication was good and all our doubts were cleared and tour was custom. They took care of (Read More)everything needed including permits. Lodging is decent (though food can improve in tashi heritage hotel - we stayed there 3 days, exact same breakfast and dinner for all three days.) stay in Lachung was basic but the one in pelling (serchu farm stay, we liked place and food). Drivers were friendly and cooperative no issues there. Driver to north sikkim gave many useful details too.

Now the problem part, we were paired with another couple for our trip to nathula pass which was not part of initial agreement (we were to be given separate vehicle). So these people caused significant delay at every step (around 100 mins) because of which we had to miss Changu lake ropeway. Our daughter was immensely disappointed. It was a scenic ropeway and we really had our heart on it. Second was AC was not working any car. You don't need ac for sikkim at all. However, once you go towards kalimpong and Bengal things get very hot. So our pick up and drop from airports were very uncomfortable and we ended up getting sun stroke.
Though I could not go the points I planned due to the weather condition and non availability of permit, it was a good experience traveling with Flamingo. The hotels, Cabs, Food and other services were (Read More) very good.
