Highly Unsatisfactory Family Vacation Experience Agency: Tomorrow Trips (Club Travalet) Travel Dates: Last week of September Route: Coimbatore – Ooty – Mysore – Bangalore (with children) We booked our family trip through Tomorrow Trips (Club Travalet), but the entire experience turned out to be stressful and disappointing. There were repeated problems with the vehicle, hotels, trip planning, (Read More) and even billing after the trip ended. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation became a series of frustrations. 1. Transportation & Delays The trip started on a bad note: • Vehicle arrived 2 hours late, throwing off our entire schedule. • Because of this delay, we missed the start of the Ooty Toy Train. We had to chase the train and board it two stops later, losing 30 minutes of the scenic ride we paid for. • The vehicle itself was in poor condition …the seats were dirty and worn out, and the middle-row handrest was broken. • The front passenger window didn’t work, and the A/C had to be turned off during the uphill drive to Ooty, making the journey suffocating. 2. Poor Accommodation & Check-in Issues The hotels were below expectations and badly planned: • In Ooty, our rooms weren’t ready when we arrived. We had to wait for about 1.5 hours to check in. • The beds felt damp, clearly not prepared properly. This was only fixed the next day after we complained. • In Mysore, the hotel was far outside the city, at least an hour away from the main attractions. • Because of this, we could only visit the overcrowded Mysore Palace and had to return immediately. • The next morning was rushed … we had to leave early for Chamundeshwari Temple (another hour’s drive), then rush back to the hotel to check out and head to the Bangalore airport. The whole schedule felt poorly planned and tiring. 3. Post-Trip Billing Problems Even after the trip, the issues continued: • The GST invoice took almost 12 days to arrive after the trip ended. • We had to keep following up multiple times to get it, which showed how weak their back-end support is. Overall The trip was full of delays, poor vehicle quality, bad hotel arrangements, and weak planning. To make things worse, the billing process was also mismanaged. Overall, this was a highly unsatisfactory experience for our family, and we would not recommend this agency to others.
