Overall, our experience with the travel agency was good and we sincerely appreciate their efforts in ensuring a smooth journey for the most part.
Upon arriving at Delhi airport, Mr. Satish, our drive (Read More)r, was there to receive us promptly. We then began our journey toward Shimla. Unfortunately, our initial hotel booking in Shimla—Hotel Moonlight was a disappointment. The place was highly unprofessional and disorganized. We found multiple issues including hair on the bed, stains on the bed sheet, and unwashed pillow covers. This was clearly unacceptable, and we immediately reported it to Ms. Anuradha. A big thanks to Anuradha for her prompt action even at late night during peak tourist season, she went out of her way to find us a better hotel. We checked in late that night and had a much more comfortable stay thereafter.
The next day, we visited Kufri and Mall Road in Shimla, both of which were enjoyable. We then proceeded to Manali, where we spent two nights. The accommodation in Manali was excellent clean, comfortable, and with a beautiful view. During our stay, we visited Rohtang Pass, Atal Tunnel, and Solang Valley. While we had to pay extra for the Rohtang Pass visit, this was communicated to us well in advance and was worth the experience. The next day included local sightseeing in Manali, which we felt could have been covered in a single day. The highlight was again the Mall Road, which we truly enjoyed on our last day. Late that night, we started our journey towards Chandigarh. Special thanks to Mr. Satish for handling the overnight travel so patiently, and again to Anuradha for efficiently coordinating this part of the trip as well.
