Trip to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Char Dham

Our experience with Aide Holidays during our Yamunotri-Gangotri–Kedarnath–Badrinath trip was extremely disappointing and stressful due to repeated mismanagement and lack of accountability. 1. Incorrect hotel booking at Kedarnath Despite clearly informing the team at the time of booking that we required two double-bed rooms for four people, A Holidays booked one four-bedded room instead. Thi (Read More)s was never clarified beforehand. To make matters worse, when we reached Kedarnath after a 10-hour trek, we discovered that the hotel booked was under a completely different name from what had been shared with us. 2. No support or response during the trip The representative who handled our package had assured us that he would remain available throughout the journey. However, once the trip started, he stopped answering calls. The SPOC (single point of contact) kept changing multiple times, creating complete confusion. After reaching Kedarnath in freezing weather, we spent nearly two hours searching for the hotel because the hotel name provided was incorrect and nobody from A Holidays was available to guide us. 3. False commitment regarding hotel category in Badrinath AideHolidays had committed to booking premium rooms at Yoga Premium Hotel in Badrinath. However, upon arrival, we were given standard rooms instead in Yoga Hotel which was different hotel than Yoga Premium hotel. When we checked with the hotel staff, they confirmed that no deluxe rooms had been booked and that only standard rooms were reserved, contrary to what was promised in the itinerary. 4. Hotel payment not cleared by the travel agency At checkout, we faced another major issue when the hotel informed us that payment from A Holidays had not been received. We were forced to wait for nearly an hour, which delayed our departure and almost affected our train schedule. Eventually, we had to arrange payment ourselves to leave on time. Overall, the entire trip was filled with unnecessary stress, poor coordination, unprofessional handling, lack of communication, and false commitments. I would strongly advise travelers to avoid booking with AideHolidays if you want a smooth and reliable travel experience.

However, during peak season in destinations like Kedarnath and Char Dham routes, hotel partners sometimes make last-minute operational changes regarding room allocation or property arrangements, which can unfortunately create unexpected situations for travelers.

We completely understand that such experiences can affect the comfort of your trip, and for that we are truly sorry. We also believe that most parts of the journey were managed smoothly, except for the issues faced during the Kedarnath stay, and we sincerely apologize for that inconvenience.

Plan was good with nice hotels and at affordable price
Their cab driver is not good if we asked to go to room inbetween trip he say I only go by the package I won't come extra if you want to go room lets go and end the day I wont get you there again It's not good try to change the cab driver friendly
