Detailed Itinerary
You will meet our representative at Srinagar airport. They will assist in transferring you to the hotel. After freshening up, proceed to Srinagar for local sightseeing, visiting Mughal gardens like Nishat Garden, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi, Botanical Garden, Pari Mahal, Tulip Garden (you can visit the Tulip Garden only in April), and the famous Hazratbal Shrine. After completing your day trip, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, head towards Sonamarg (approx. 80 km). Sonamarg is also known as the “Meadow of Gold.” On the way, see the Sindh River, green meadows, and snowy mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy a pony ride to one of the Thajiwas Glaciers (altitude of 9,186 feet) for fun in the snow and ice (at your own cost). Return to the Srinagar Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg, known as the “Meadow of Flowers.” The 60 km distance will be covered in about 2 hours. Gulmarg has delightful ski slopes and is itself a popular tourist destination. This small town, set in beautiful green meadows, offers many attractions, including the Gondola ride (at your own cost, book online at www.jammukashmircablecar.com). Gulmarg is also known for snow activities like skiing, snowboarding, snow scooters, trekking, nature walks, and cable car riding (direct cost). After enjoying your day in Gulmarg, return to the Srinagar hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, head towards Pahalgam (90 km from Srinagar), known as the “Valley of Shepherds.” En route, visit saffron fields, a bat factory, apple orchards, and the ancient Awantipura Ruins, a temple over eleven hundred years old. Drive through the pine forest along the Lidder River. Lidder Valley in Pahalgam is beautiful, with the Lidder River flowing between snow-capped mountains. Once in Pahalgam, enjoy sightseeing. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, explore Pahalgam. At your own cost, you can visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, Chandanwari, and Baisaran (also known as Mini Switzerland). After a full day in Pahalgam, return to Srinagar for a houseboat stay, dinner, and overnight.

- In Katra, the Municipal Committee of Katra has fixed the rates displayed on the rate card outside the booking office at Ban Ganga for pithy/palki/pony services. If someone is overcharging, bargaining may help.
- No vehicle is allowed to pick up guests inside the railway station/airport in Jammu; our driver will coordinate with you accordingly.
- Book the Gulmarg Gondola cable car ride online before arrival at www.jammukashmircablecar.com.
- Taking ponies to visit spots in Gulmarg & Pahalgam is optional. Most major tourist attractions are within walking distance, but pony rides/sledding/rafting rates are negotiable. Please bargain.
- All passengers must report 2 hours before departure due to security checks at the airport.
