Day 1 Arrival in Hanoi – Half Day City Tour

Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel (standard check-in time is 14:00). After settling in, gear up for an afternoon city tour. Start with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university that dates back to 1070. Next, step into the historic Hoa Lo Prison, famously known as the "Hanoi Hilton" during the Vietnam War. End your day at the tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake, where you'll explore the iconic Ngoc Son Temple perched on a small island. Return to the hotel by early evening. Overnight stay in Hanoi.

After breakfast, check out and hop on a shuttle bus for a scenic drive to Halong Bay (approx. 3 hours with a short break). Upon arrival, board your cruise and get ready to be mesmerised by the limestone karsts dotting the emerald waters. While cruising, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch on board. Spend your afternoon exploring the bay’s beauty—kayaking, swimming, or simply relaxing on deck. Later, enjoy dinner as the boat anchors for the night. Overnight on board the Halong Bay Cruise.
Start your day with a Tai Chi session on the sundeck followed by a light breakfast. As the cruise sails back, admire more limestone islets. Enjoy a hearty brunch before disembarking. The shuttle will take you back to Hanoi, from where you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Da Nang. Once you land, a private transfer will take you to your hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in Da Nang.
After breakfast, head out for a day trip to the famous Ba Na Hills. Take a stunning cable car ride up the hills and begin exploring attractions such as Vong Nguyet Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, and the Orchid Garden. Don’t miss a walk along the famous Golden Bridge—an architectural marvel held by giant stone hands with panoramic views. Post lunch, head to Fantasy Park where you can enjoy indoor games and rides. Return to Da Nang by evening. Overnight stay in Da Nang.
Spend your morning at leisure. By mid-afternoon (around 3:30 PM), you’ll leave for Cam Thanh Coconut Village. Enjoy a fun basket boat ride through the palm forest and try crab catching. Witness the locals’ impressive boat dancing skills. Later, head to Hoi An and stroll through its charming lantern-lit streets. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, browse through the vibrant night market, and have a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. Return to your hotel in Da Nang. Overnight stay in Da Nang.
Enjoy a relaxed morning followed by check-out. A private transfer will take you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Once you land, another private transfer will drive you to your hotel. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast, begin your exploration of southern Vietnam. Visit the Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral (outside only), Central Post Office, and the War Remnants Museum—offering deep insights into Vietnam’s history. In the afternoon, proceed to the Cu Chi Tunnels located around 1.5 hours from the city. Crawl through the extensive underground tunnel network used during the war and see remnants of the battleground. Try boiled cassava—a wartime staple. You may also opt for the shooting range experience (extra cost). Return by evening. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.
After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in Vietnam. Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be picked up and transferred to the airport (about 3.5 hours before departure). Trip ends with unforgettable memories!
