Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Bagdogra and Transfer to Gangtok - Leisure Day

Pick-up at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport.
Transfer to Gangtok (5500ft /130kms / 04 hrs.)
On arrival check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2 A Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Gangtok Attractions

After breakfast, sightseeing in Gangtok.
Visit Bhanjhakri waterfalls, Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom(Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Nam Nang View point & Flower Show, Ropeway.
After the sightseeing return to the hotel.
Spend the evening at leisure.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 3 Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

In the morning at around 07.30 am depart for Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.
In case of a landslide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed, we will provide alternate sightseeing.
* Nathula pass sightseeing can be available at non-refundable (optional).
You have to inform at least 72 hours before your travel.
* At any point in time, after getting pass from Sikkim Government, there will be no refund in case you cannot visit due to bad weather conditions or landslides, or any other reason.
No alternate sightseeing will be provided for Nathu La Pass.

Day 4 Transfer to Lachung - Visit Waterfalls, Viewpoints and More

Pick-up from hotel at Gangtok at about 10 a.m. depart for Lachung (124 Km, 6 Hrs) at an altitude of 9,600 ft.
On the way visit a few wonderful locations like Tashi Viewpoint, Kabi Lungchok, Naga Waterfalls, the confluence of Lachen Chu (river), and Lachung Chu (river) at Chungthang, Twin Waterfalls, and Bhim Nala Waterfalls.
Lunch will be served at Namok.
Reach Lachung in the late afternoon/evening and check-in at the hotel.
Overnight stay at Lachung.

Day 5 Full-day Excursion to Yumthang Valley & Hot Spring - Back to Gangtok

After breakfast full-day excursion to Yumthang Valley & Hot Spring (11800ft / 1½ Hrs).
After lunch, transfer to Gangtok (124kms/06hrs).
On arrival check on to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
*Note: Visitors may visit Yumesamdong or Zero Point if they want.
*Zero-point is close to Yumesamdong, although contrary to popular belief they are not the same places.
*After reaching Yumesamdong, one needs to walk a little to reach the Zero point.
*Officially one is not allowed to visit Yumesamdong/Zero Point.
*You can visit on a direct payment basis of approx 2500/-

Day 6 Transfer to Pelling - Visit Tea Garden on the Way

After breakfast transfer to Pelling via Namchi.
On the way visit Temi Tea Garden, Char Dham Temple, Samdruptse Temple.
After sightseeing proceed to Pelling.
On arrival check in to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Pelling.

Day 7 A Full Day of Exploring Waterfalls, Lake and Ruins in Pelling

After breakfast, sightseeing in Pelling.
Visit Rimbi Waterfalls, Rimbi Hydel Project, Rabdentse Ruins, Khecheopalri Lake & Kanchenjunga Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery.
Return to the hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8 Transfer to Kalimpong - Enjoy the Local Market in Evening

After breakfast transfer to Kalimpong.
Sightseeing on the way.

Day 9 Half-Day Kalimpong Sightseeing Tour - Transfer to Darjeeling

After Breakfast at 8 am, sightseeing in Kalimpong.
Visit Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Flower Nurseries, Jang-Dong-Palriffro-Brang Gompa & Durbin Dara Hills.
After sightseeing transfer to Darjeeling.

Day 10 Sunrise at Tiger Hill - Explore Darjeeling

In the early morning tour to Tiger Hills (at around 4 am) to view sunrise over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather).
On the way back visit Batasia Loop & Ghoom Monastery.
After breakfast, leave for a city tour of Darjeeling.
Visit Padmaja Naidu Himalaya Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, (Closed on Thursday), Happy Valley Tea Estate, Tenzing Rock & Gombu Rock & Tibetan Refugee Self – Help Center (Closed on Sunday).
After lunch visit White Pagoda, Ava Art Gallery & Natural History Museum.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 Depart from Darjeeling - Tour Ends

After breakfast leave Darjeeling.
Transfer NJP railway station/IXB Airport( 75 km / 3 hrs) for the onwards journey.

Kept in touch with us by direct calls or WA messages right through our trip. Ved (Read More)ic planned out the trip nicely. All drivers were instructed by Vedic on the trip details. Everything was well planned out, so we do not have any reason to complain. Even on 2nd October when most of the tourist vehicle drivers were off-road for their most important festival, Vedic managed to get a vehicle for us within a very reasonable time. No complaints from our side but only compliments!! Was supposed to provide a Swift but was provided Innova!

I liked the stay & transport facilities provided. The hospitality of the hotel s (Read More)taffs were really good at all places. Drivers were also expert and of good friendly nature. Specially I would love to appreciate about our last day. We left the hotel at 4 am. The homestay gladly packed our breakfast so early in the morning. All our family members were really delighted at such services.

Nothing much. the rooms provided for the last night at Mirik were smaller. It wo (Read More)uld have been better if similar standard is maintained at all places. There are many beautiful places at Mirik. I would have appreciated if we were provided a homestay near such beautiful places. (outskirt). Also it would be better if one driver is maintained for the whole trip. We had 3 different drivers for this 5 nights trip. We are lucky that all 3 turned out to be good. Also there was a last minute issue on our last day when the driver was dropping us off at the airport. Someone called the driver and asked the driver to stop the car as he didn’t get money from agency. Then I had to call the agency and ask them to clear the payment as we had already cleared all the payment on the 1st day. The issue was quickly resolved by the agency but we were in tension for 5-10 minutes. So such incidence should be avoided.
