Day 1 Arrival in Srinagar & Local Sightseeing
Upon your arrival in Srinagar, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Freshen up and embark on a local sightseeing tour of Srinagar, visiting iconic sites like the Shankaracharya Temple, Mughal Gardens (Cheshma-Shahi Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh), Pari Mahal, and the Botanical Gardens. If time permits, you can visit the Hazratbal Shrine. In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar.
After breakfast, drive through the picturesque villages and rice fields to Tangmarg, continuing to Gulmarg, famously known as the “Meadow of Flowers.” Admire the stunning mountain scenery, including the Affarwat peaks, which offer world-class skiing and the highest 18-hole golf course in the world. Optional activities include the Gondola Cable Ride and horse riding to Strawberry Valley (costs not included). Return to Srinagar in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
Start your day with breakfast and a drive to Sonmarg, the “Meadow of Gold.” Enjoy the beautiful snow-capped mountains and alpine scenery. Visit Thajiwas Glacier (pony ride available, cost not included), take in the serene views of Harmukh Mountain and the Sind River. In the evening, return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, known as the "Valley of Shepherds," stopping en route at the saffron fields of Pampore and the ancient Awantipura Ruins (1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu). Arrive in Pahalgam and enjoy the Lidder Stream. Explore famous offbeat areas like Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari (by Union cab, cost not included). After a full day of exploring, return to Srinagar for an evening Shikara ride on Dal/Nigeen Lake, where you can experience the floating market (cost not included). Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional houseboat.
After breakfast, pack your bags and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey, taking with you beautiful memories of your Kashmir holiday.
