Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Dehradun / Haridwar – Transfer to Guptkashi (180 km, 7–8 hrs)
  • Arrive at Dehradun and drive to Guptkashi.
  • Check in to the hotel and relax in the evening. Briefing about the yatra.
  • Overnight stay at Guptkashi.
  • Early morning: Depart for Sonprayag.
  • Road/Trek: Take a local jeep from Sonprayag to Gaurikund at your own expense, then begin a 15 km trek (doli/pony options available at an additional cost).
  • Upon arrival at Kedarnath, check in to the guesthouse.
  • Evening darshan at Kedarnath Temple.
  • Overnight stay at Kedarnath.
  • After morning darshan, return trek to Gaurikund.
  • Take a local taxi from Gaurikund to Sonprayag and drive back to Guptkashi (Sitapur).
  • Overnight stay at Guptkashi or Sitapur.
  • Drive to Badrinath.
  • En route: Visit Narsingh Temple and Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi at Joshimath.
  • Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
  • Evening Aarti at Badrinath Temple.
  • Overnight stay at Badrinath or Pandukeshwar.
  • Optional early morning: Darshan at Badrinath.
  • Visit Mana Village, the last Indian village before the Tibet border.
  • Explore Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, Bhim Pul, and the source of the Saraswati River.
  • Drive towards Rudraprayag.
  • En route, visit Vishnuprayag, Karnaprayag, and Nandprayag.
  • Overnight stay at Rudraprayag or Srinagar.
