Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Paro – Thimphu
Upon arrival at Paro Airport, meet our representative and drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s charming capital. En route, visit the Buddha Dordenma, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world, located in Kuenselphodrang Nature Park. This 169-foot golden statue houses 125,000 miniature Buddhas inside — a truly awe-inspiring sight. From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the Thimphu Valley.

As you descend from Buddha Point, seek blessings at Devi Panchayan Mandir, a unique Hindu shrine that showcases a fusion of Bhutanese and Hindu architecture. Here, you can offer prayers to Goddess Durga, Lord Ganesh, Surya, Shiva, and Vishnu, and pour holy water on a giant Shivling installed at the temple.
Overnight stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Takin Preserve Centre at Motithang, home to Bhutan’s national animal – the Takin – along with Muntjac deer, Sambar, and Serow.

Next, explore the Folk Heritage Museum, which offers deep insight into traditional Bhutanese lifestyle and material culture. Continue to the National Memorial Chorten, a prominent Tibetan-style stupa built in 1974 in memory of the third king, Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. It is a major spiritual landmark for locals.
Later, head to the Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Market, a perfect place to witness local craftsmanship and shop for souvenirs.
After sightseeing, drive to Paro for your night halt. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, proceed to explore Paro. En route, cross Dochula Pass and make a brief stop at Simtokha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s oldest fortresses, ideal for photography.
Visit Tachog Lhakhang, also known as the "Temple of the Hill of the Excellent Horse", built by the legendary bridge builder Thangtong Gyalpo. Next, stop at the Airport View Point, a perfect spot to enjoy views of the Paro Valley and catch sight of planes taking off or landing.
Continue to the National Museum, an old watchtower housing an impressive collection of artifacts, including traditional costumes, weapons, and religious items that showcase Bhutan’s rich cultural heritage.
Visit Rinpung Dzong, meaning “Fortress on a Heap of Jewels”, renowned for its stunning Bhutanese architecture.
Finally, prepare for a short trek to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery), perched on a sheer cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. A visit to this sacred site is a must and marks the highlight of your Bhutan journey. Overnight stay in Paro.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Paro Airport for your onward journey. Tour ends with beautiful memories of Bhutan.

Just heading back home from a 7 day trip to Bhutan. We had a fantastic time, beautiful place, kind people, a lot to see. Thanks to the Travel agent Kiran for arranging us a perfect itinerary and espec (Read More)ially for arranging us with cash as our visa cards don't work in Bhutan and Indian ATM's had no cash to dispense. I'd say We were lucky to have had the best chauffeur I believe that Bhutan has to offer. Ask for Mr.Tshewang, very professional ,kind, helpful and a fantastic driver. He took us to the best places with the best local everything, especially the food if you are a foodie. Overall we had a fantastic trip. Must visit. Thanks much for everything.

We were quite unprepared for the Bhutan trip and we ended up at the doorstep of this travel agency. The agent we met there was sweet and sugar coated everything. Of course as newbies we believed him (Read More). What we realised later was that he was trying to con us right from the start. We booked a bus for 2 days. The driver was extremely uncooperative. He would mislead us by telling that there were not many places to see and that the places were closed. He was cranky, obnoxious and full of himself. Of course we fired him later on. This is a tourist place and this was the first time I experienced such incompetency and the unwillingness to make the tourists comfortable in the hospitality sector. I'm sure you guys would find a better travel agency.

We landed up in this travel agency as it was close to the immigration office. As our driver did not have valid id proof, we had to hire a taxi from this travel agency. The driver kept misbehaving with (Read More) us on the way to Phuentsholing to Thimphu. And after reaching city hotel, we made horrible statements to an elderly man, who happens to be my father. And even ran away with the permits. And when the travel agency head was called upon, he said “I cannot ask the driver to give you the permits back” . He even blocked my number after the first call. He also denied to give us back the advance amount we had paid him. Bhutan trip had a lot of hiccups, thanks to this travel agency.
