Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Day 1: Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station -Darjeeling

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport, you will be met by our driver
who will assist you to board your vehicle to Darjeeling. On arrival check into the
hotel. Then proceed for Sightseeing Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed
on Thursday) which was started by Tenzing Norgay after he climbed Mt.
Everest, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park. Evening visit Mall road and Chowrasta.

Early morning visit Tiger Hill to see a beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range
like Kanchandzonga, Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors
just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turns golden. It is truly
a majestic sight and Ghoom Monastery which is the oldest Monastery in the area
which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height
on the way back from Kanchendzonga View Point. Then visit Batasia Loop and
transfer to the hotel.Breakfast at the hotel and proceed for a city tour and Toy Train Ride
visiting , Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tenzing Rock / Gombu
Rock, Tea Estate (from outside), Japanese Peace Pagoda.
On arrival check into your hotels.

After breakfast, starts journey towards Bagdogra/NJP Railway Station
in time for flight/train to onward destination. ON THE WAY VISIT Mirik Lake
which is 50 km from Darjeeling and Rock Garden (optional visit nearby Ganga Maya
Park). Mirik Lake is one the destinations where the town is centered by man-made
Sumedu Lake, Simana View Point, Lepchajagat and Tea Estates. The walkon the 3.5
Km long promenade around the lake is fascination one. The 80ft long arch-type bridge
across the lake is a beautiful place to explore the lake. The drive of 3-4 hrs from
Darjeeling to Mirik Lake will be a wonderful adventure as it passes through the pine
trees forest through its half of the journey and the remaining journey will be
landscape by Tea Garden Estate. Guests can shop at Pashupati Market (Indo-Nepal

  • Any increase in taxes or fuel prices leading to an increase in the cost of surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure
  • Cancellation requests must be sent to us by mail or fax.
  • 30 days from the date of booking: Only communication charges of Rs. 2000 per person.
  • 30-15 days prior to departure: 25% of the tour cost.
  • 14-07 days prior to departure: 50% of the tour cost.
  • 07-03 days prior to departure: 75% of the tour cost.
  • 02 days or no show: 100% of the tour cost.
  • These are the cancellation rules, but we will make our best effort to minimize the cancellation charges.
