After breakfast, begin with a half-day tour of Shillong. Explore Ward’s Lake, ideal for garden walks and boating, and the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures, a unique seven-storey museum representing the culture of the North East. Visit Lady Hydari Park, a Japanese-style garden with a mini-zoo, and pass through one of Asia’s largest 18-hole golf courses surrounded by pine groves and rhododendrons. Also visit the State Museum which showcases local heritage, and enjoy views of waterfalls cascading down the valleys.

Later, proceed to Cherrapunjee, stopping en route at Elephant Falls, a twin cascade of mountain streams flowing over fern-covered rocks. Cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth, lies in the East Khasi Hills. It is famous for its cliffs with views of the Bangladeshi plains and is often referred to as Sohra, meaning "land of oranges."

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour. Visit Arwah Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, Eco Park, Garden of Caves, and Thangkharang Park. These natural attractions showcase the stunning biodiversity and limestone cave systems of the region.

Post breakfast, drive to Dawki and Mawlynnong. Dawki, located on the Indo-Bangladesh border, is renowned for the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River where visitors can enjoy a scenic boat ride (on direct payment basis). Continue to Mawlynnong, a charming village often dubbed “God’s Own Garden.” Awarded the title of the cleanest village in Asia, Mawlynnong is a model of eco-tourism. Explore the living root bridge in nearby Riwai village and witness the rare natural balancing rock.

After breakfast, depart from Shillong and transfer to Guwahati airport or railway station for your onward journey.
