Guptkashi:- The name Guptkashi means "Hidden Benares." Mythology describes how when the Pandava brothers were searching for a glimpse of Shiva, Shivji first concealed himself at Guptkashi but fled further up the valley to Kedarnath, where the Pandavas finally fulfilled their wish. There are also more tangible connections—the Kedarnath pandas (priests) live in Guptkashi during the winter months. After the Kedarnath temple closes for the winter, the image of Kedarnath passes through Guptkashi on its way to Ukhimath (across the valley), where it stays for the winter.
Guptkashi Weather - Pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25-30 degrees Celsius.
By Trek: In the morning, our driver will drop you off at Sonprayag. From there, you have to take a local jeep to Gourikund. Then ,your trek to Kedarnathji begins. After Darshan, follow the same route back to Sonprayag. There is a big parking issue, so the driver will return to another location. If his contact number is not working, you will need to arrange another taxi or wait for your driver and send a message through any other driver.
Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name for Lord Shiva. According to legend, after having won over the Kauravas in the Kurukshetra war, the Pandavas felt guilty about having killed their brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and, while fleeing, took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed, he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar, and his locks (hair) with the head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.
Kedarnath Weather - Due to its high altitude, the weather in Kedarnath remains cold for most of the year. Summer here is cool and pleasant, while winter is severe. During the summer season, the temperature varies around 20° Celsius. Light woolen wear is recommended. Winter in Kedarnath is severe, with the mercury falling to as low as 0° Celsius. During this time, the place experiences snowfall as well. Due to the extreme climatic conditions, tourists usually avoid this time.

- Quotations are provided without holding any confirmed reservations in airlines or hotels. Once the quotation is accepted, and the advance payment is deposited (via cheque/cash), the booking process will begin.
- If confirmations cannot be secured, the deposited amount will be refunded to the guest.
- Once confirmed, full payment is required upon delivery of travel documents.
- Base category rooms will be booked in hotels unless specified in the quotation. If selected rooms are unavailable, similar or higher-category rooms will be booked, with the guest paying the difference in cost.
- Amendments to air ticket dates will be treated as cancellations, and new tickets will be issued at applicable rates. Cancellation charges as per airline policy will apply.
- Amendments to dates or itineraries must be communicated in writing. Confirmation of amendments depends on the availability of the requested hotels and dates. The cancellation policy will apply in such cases.
- No refund will be provided for unutilized services in the tour package.
- Guests must carry valid identity proof (e.g., passport for international travel) containing their photograph for airport and hotel check-ins. Pan cards are not valid as identity proof.
- Standard hotel check-in and check-out times are 2:00 PM and 12:00 PM, respectively. Meals, including breakfast, correspond to the number of nights booked. Hotels do not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
- Early check-ins and late check-outs must be settled directly by the guest with the hotel.
- For international travel, rates may vary due to changes in ROE or fluctuations in the international market.
- By accepting the quotation, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the package details, booking terms, payment policy, and cancellation policy.
- Booking Policy:
- Booking Amount (30 or more Days before Departure): 25% of the package cost or Actual Liability, whichever is higher.
- 29 – 15 Days before Departure or Before Applying for the Visa (whichever comes first): 50% of the package cost or Actual Liability, whichever is higher.
- 14 – 08 Days before Departure: 75% of the package cost or Actual Liability, whichever is higher.
- 07 Days or Less before Departure: 100% of the package cost.
