Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Srinagar Airport / Pahalgam Nightstay

Arrival at Srinagar Airport where you will meet our representative who will transfer you to Pahalgam. You will explore Pahalgam, visiting Aru Valley, Chandanwari Valley, and Betab Valley (cost not included). If you enjoy adventure rides, a visit to Pahalgam Club, Children Park, and Zoo is a must. In the evening, return to Pahalgam hotel for an overnight stay and dinner.

After an early breakfast, explore other areas of Pahalgam like Lidder River. In the afternoon, transfer to Srinagar and visit Tulip Garden and other Mughal Gardens like Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, Chashme Shahi, Botanical Garden, Pari Mahal, and the famous Hazratbal Shrine located on the banks of Dal Lake, as well as Shankaracharya Temple. The distance from Srinagar to these gardens is about 15 to 20 km. In the evening, check into the houseboat for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride where you can explore Meena Bazar Market in Dal Lake. Then proceed for a day excursion to Sonamarg (Golden Meadow), which lies in Sind Valley, surrounded by mountains and flowers. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to high-altitude Himalayan lakes. Enjoy horse riding up to Thajiwas Glacier (on direct payment). Return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Aharbal Waterfall, one of Kashmir’s beautiful natural attractions, located in the Kulgam district. During winter, enjoy the scenic drive through snow-covered landscapes, frosty forests, and picturesque mountain surroundings, depending on weather conditions. Witness the magnificent waterfall surrounded by winter scenery and capture memorable photographs along the way. Please note that access to certain areas may be restricted due to snowfall, icy roads, or local weather conditions. In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, transfer to Gulmarg. Here you can enjoy the meadow of flowers, which has a famous golf course during summer and a ski resort during winter. Later, proceed to enjoy the world's highest cable car ride, called Gondola Ride, which has 2 phases (cost not included). The second phase takes you up to 14,000 ft above sea level. You can also experience a pony ride along with a sledge ride on snow, based on the availability of snow. After fully enjoying Gulmarg, check in at the hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

We had reached Srinagar around 11 AM on our first day and wanted to cover all the gardens before our Shikara ride at sunset. Javed was completely open to the idea and planned the route so well that we managed to cover all of them and still reach in time for the Shikara ride. The timing worked out perfectly! What we really loved was how he paid attention to the little things we were interested in. We wanted to experience Kashmir through its food as well, so he sweetly got us Noon Chai and traditional Kashmiri breakfast bread from his own home. He also helped us find really fresh trout, took us to a great place to try Kashmiri Wazwan, and helped us get some lovely apples. Javed doesn't just follow an itinerary. He listens, understands what you are looking for, and genuinely tries to add those little experiences that turn a trip into a collection of memories. She was always ready to attend our calls and provide assistance. The driver Mr Aqib Bhai also entertained us through out our trip. We were provided Hotel Siddeeq Palace which is a nice hotel. All the staff in the hotel are honest and attentive. But there are some issues in the food quality of the restaurant of the hotel. We all enjoyed the trip to our best.
There is need of improvement in the food quality of the restaurant.
