Sonmarg is the last stop in the Kashmir District, where the territory of Ladakh begins. Situated at an altitude of 2,743 m above sea level, Sonmarg is aptly named 'Meadow of Gold.' Upon entering Sonmarg, you'll first notice the snow-covered mountains forming the backdrop of the town. This morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Srinagar. Upon arrival in Srinagar, check in to the houseboat. In the afternoon, proceed for a half-day tour of the world-famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, and Cheshma Shahi. Later, you can indulge in shopping for Pashmina shawls, walnuts, almonds, saffron, and more while enjoying a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat in Srinagar.
