Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Srinagar - The Gateway to Kashmir
  • Arrival in Srinagar, meet our representative at the airport.
  • Transfer to your houseboat and check-in.
  • Enjoy a one-hour Shikara ride on the lake near the houseboat, gliding past vegetable gardens and aquatic life.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in the houseboat.
  • After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed to Gulmarg (52 km).
  • Enjoy panoramic views of Gulmarg upon arrival.
  • Optional pony rides to Maharani Temple and St. Mary's Church (at your own cost).
  • Gondola ride to Kongdori (Phase 1) and Apharwat Peak (Phase 2), reaching one of the highest altitudes in Asia.
  • Maharani Temple, built in 1915, houses shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
  • St. Mary's Church, constructed during British rule, renovated in 2003, and renowned for its scenic beauty.
  • Gondola timing: 10 AM to 5 PM (subject to weather conditions).
  • Return to Srinagar in the evening and check-in.
  • After breakfast, proceed to Sonamarg, a scenic 98 km drive from Srinagar.
  • Sonamarg is closed from November to March and is situated at an altitude of 2743 m.
  • Admire the snow-covered mountains and lush greenery.
  • Visit Thajwas Glacier, 3 km from town, accessible by walk or pony ride (at extra cost).
  • Enjoy the trek to Thajwas Glacier, with views of lush greenery, frozen lakes, and Shakhdar Hill.
  • Optional sledge ride and pony ride to the glacier (at your own cost).
  • Return to Srinagar in the evening for overnight stay.
  • After breakfast check out & transfer for Srinagar Airport to board the scheduled Flight for onward destination

What's Good: Excellent. Trip exactly as per the itinerary. Houseboat stay and visit to places were thrilling. Could see tulip garden mustard field apple and walnut garden. Thanks for arranging (Read More)helicopter tickets for mata Vaishnov Devi Darshan.
What's Not Good: The agency could not arrange gondola tickets even for the first phase, though booked 1½ months in advance in Gulmarg.

What's Good: Accommodation was good..
What's Not Good: We were six of us all middle aged women…we had booked for helicopter from katra to vaishnodevi ,3 women were stranded as he had (Read More)given other names…they had to hire a palki to and fro ..it was a nightmare

The experience was suberb. I visited Kashmir with my family 7n 8d . Hotels and drivers was very good . All management was good .looking forward to book another trip with INDO TOURS AND ADVENTURES.and (Read More)thanks to Mr Shaan to create a memorable trip.

Gave us below average hotels. Not worth the money they charged us.

Trip to Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg

We booked indo tours and travels for our family trip to Kashmir. We talked to Shaan and although he was really good to talk to, was pretty flexible with the payment, our experience in hotels was terri (Read More)ble. And since he wasn’t in Kashmir, there was little he could do about it. We visited in the last week of December and it was very cold and the hotels were not centrally heated as he had claimed before. The driver he gave us was really helpful and the trip was planned well but the whole hotel fiasco toned down our enthusiasm a bit. Would definitely not choose him for next time.

Please read my Reply very well.
You guys didn’t Follow the Hotels/houseboat check-in and checkout policy.

You Guys do not follow the Company Payments policy.

You guys smoke in the houseboat. (You cannot smoke in the houseboat room as per the houseboat policy.)

I support you to check in the houseboat first day at 9 AM and provided you Gas heater. The houseboat check time is 2 pm (You didn’t mention this in your feedback)

Clearly mentioned in the itinerary which hotels are central heated and which are not and we informed you also. We provided you with the same property that is mentioned in your itinerary.

Your Budget was Too low still I offer you the best property.
Shangloo houseboat with Gas Heaters 1nights
Shelter heritage with Gas heaters for 2 nights
Queen park Pahalgam Fully Central heated for 2 nights (You didn’t mention in your feedback)
And at the last, you told me that you don’t want to recheck in Shelter heritage.
We provided you with Asian Park 4-star property in Srinagar. (You didn’t mention this in your feedback)
