Day 1 Arrive in Srinagar / Boat Ride
Afternoon: Enjoy a boat ride on Dal Lake, one of the most iconic landmarks in India. Dotted with numerous beautiful sights, the city of Srinagar looks stunning, surrounded by landscaped flowering gardens, crystal-clear lakes, magnificent structures, and bustling markets.
Amidst the serene waters, Dal Lake shines as Srinagar’s jewel. This hillside lake is synonymous with the carved, colorful wooden houseboats drifting casually through the placid waters against the backdrop of the misty Pir Panjal Mountains. Spanning over 22 square kilometers, the lake’s beauty is breathtaking at every corner.
One of the most exhilarating experiences in Srinagar is taking a ride on a Shikara—a small, wooden, carved boat. Later, return to the houseboat for the night.

Day 3 Sightseeing in Pahalgam
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Pahalgam by a local union cab.

- Chandanwari (2,895 m | 16 km from Pahalgam): Starting point of the Amarnath Yatra. The road to Chandanwari is curvy and requires skilled driving. Beyond Chandanwari, the track becomes steeper and can only be accessed on foot or by pony.
- Sheshnag Lake: Located 11 km from Chandanwari.
- Panchtarni: Located 13 km beyond Sheshnag, it is the last stop before the Amarnath Cave.
- Betaab Valley: Located 7 km from Pahalgam, this valley is named after the Bollywood movie Betaab. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and dense forests, it is the mouth of the River Sheshnag.
- Aru Valley (11 km upstream from the Lidder River): A picturesque village that serves as the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier.

Very professional and helpful staff. Rajesh and Saber were extremely helpful and guided regarding all the documents required. My visa was rejected earlier due to submitting inadequate documents but go (Read More)t it cleared by professional guidance. I would highly recommend going via Akbar travels. I had approached the cst branch.
Visa application was not submitted for 10 days leading to not getting the visa. Very Poor service and zero responsibility. False commitments and totally unreliable.
Wonderfully organized trip by the Akbar Team to Singapore and Vietnam.
