- Welcome to Srinagar, the Lake City.
- Upon arrival at Srinagar Station/Airport, begin your tour of the Kashmir Exotica Tour.
- You will be transferred to the hotel.
- Proceed on a city tour visiting:
- Shankaracharya Temple, situated on the highest hill of Srinagar
- The famous Mughal Gardens:
- Chashmashahi
- Nishat
- Shalimar
- These gardens were the Mughal Emperors' concept of Paradise and are popular picnic spots.
- Also visit a handicraft shop where you can purchase local handcrafted items such as:
- Shawls
- Jackets
- Bed covers
- Paper mache
- Carpets
- And much more!
- In the evening, enjoy a leisurely stroll alongside Dal Lake, exploring the local markets.
- Overnight stay at the Srinagar Hotel.
- Today, you will embark on a full-day excursion to the picturesque 'Meadow of Gold', Sonamarg.
- Sonamarg is the last stop in the Kashmir district; beyond this point lies the territory of Ladakh.
- Situated at an altitude of 2,743 meters above sea level, the fast-flowing Sindh River is popular for trout and masher fishing during the summer.
- You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in the snow and ice (at your own expense).
- We will drive back to Srinagar and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.
- In the morning, drive to Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers.
- The route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is fascinating, and you will be mesmerized by its beauty.
- Gulmarg is famous worldwide for skiing and snowboarding.
- During the British Raj, Gulmarg hosted the British and Europeans, creating a European hill resort.
- In Gulmarg, you can find European surroundings and an 18-hole golf course.
- Enjoy the gondola cable car (at your own cost).
- We will drive back to the Srinagar Hotel for an overnight stay.
- Early in the morning, depart for Pahalgam, known as the 'Valley of Shepherds', located at the confluence of the streams flowing from the Lidder River and Sheeshnag Lake.
- En route, visit the Awantipora ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman.
- Upon arrival in Pahalgam, enjoy the surrounding beauty or take a walk to Baisaran, which is approximately 2 km from Pahalgam.
- Experience a horse-riding trip to the Baisaran meadows.
- Enjoy the beautiful view of the ABC Valley (Aru, Betab Valley) by union cab at your own cost.
- Later, return for an overnight stay at the Srinagar Houseboat.
- After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar railway station or airport.
