Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport - Gangtok

Meet and greet on arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra International Airport and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft). On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft / 37 Kms / 2 Hrs from Gangtok) and then to Baba Mandir (13,200 ft / 16 Kms / 1 Hr from Tsomgo Lake). Return to Gangtok by evening. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Note:

  • Required Documents: 2 passport-size photos and photocopy of valid photo ID (Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID). PAN Card and Aadhaar Card are not accepted.
  • For children below 18 years: Birth Certificate / School or College ID is mandatory.
  • Original documents must be carried while travelling.
  • In case of landslide or road closure, alternate sightseeing will be provided.

After breakfast, drive to Pelling (6,300 ft) via Namchi. En route, visit Siddheshwar Dham (Char Dham) and Sai Temple. On arrival in Pelling, check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour.
Morning visit: Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfalls, Khecheopalri Lake (Wishing Lake), and Khangchendzongha Waterfalls.
Afternoon visit: Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins (second capital of Sikkim), Sang-Ngag Choling (Skywalk), and New Helipad Ground.
Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Pelling.

After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 ft) via Singla Check Post. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Early morning (4:00 AM), visit Tiger Hill (subject to availability of permit/token). Return to hotel for breakfast.
Then visit: Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple.
Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

After breakfast, check out and proceed to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.

As this was my first trip with OM Apex travels, initially I was little apprehensive what kind of services I would get, but it was really a nice trip and also all the services provided by Om Apex Trave (Read More)ls was perfect. I am thankful to Ms. Pallavi Talekar (Owner) for suggesting me such a beautiful package within my budget. I would definitely like to have another tour package with OM APEX TOURS AND TRAVELS.

As this was my first trip, by booking a package through any travel agency, initially I was little apprehensive what kind of hotels, food and services I would get. Would it be of full value for money e (Read More)tc. etc.? We started our trip from Srinagar Airport, where Mr. Rashid, the driver, was already waiting for us with vehicle. He was of great help throughout the tour. Showed us various local sights with great interest. In the evening we reached Hotel Mountview, Pahalgam. Location of Hotel and surrounding area was just awesome and to our surprise the room and outside view from the room was beautiful. It was very neat and clean room. Hotel Staff was nice, though the food was not as good as per our liking. Next day after local sightseeing in Pahalgam, we left for Srinagar and reached Hotel Four Seasons by the evening. Three night stay at this hotel was the best thing of our tour package. Everything at this hotel was perfect, be it food, hotel staff, room etc. As and when we visit Srinagar, we would definitely like to have our stay at this Hotel in future also. We went for local sightseeing in Srinagar, Gulmerg and Sonmerg. The itinerary of the package was very comfortable and was beyond our expectations. We had full time in our hand to enjoy the sightseeing. Last night of our tour was at Houseboat. We were not so happy at houseboat because we were missing the hospitality given to us by Hotel Four Seasons. Home made Food was really good at this Houseboat. I am thankful to Ms. Pallavi, owner of OM APEX TOURS AND TRAVELS who gave us such a nice package. Her suggestions were of great benefit and help to us. We would definitely like to have another tour package with OM APEX TOURS AND TRAVELS.
