After breakfast, you will set out on a full-day guided sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley in a private vehicle, covering four of the region’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Begin with Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, perched on a hilltop with sweeping views of the city and a vibrant spiritual atmosphere filled with monks, pilgrims, and prayer flags.
Next, visit either Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur), a historic royal complex showcasing ancient temples, palaces, and bustling local life, or explore Patan Durbar Square, famous for its elegant Newari architecture, the intricately carved stone Krishna Mandir, and the fascinating Patan Museum.
Continue to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu sites in the world, where you can witness traditional rituals along the Bagmati River, including open-air cremation ceremonies.
Your final stop is the majestic Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest and most serene Buddhist stupas in South Asia, surrounded by vibrant monasteries, spiritual shops, and peaceful rooftop cafés.
After the tour, return to your hotel and relax for the evening. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
