Flying Time and Schedule

• Flexible Flying Time: Flying time is subject to administrative permissions and weather conditions. Changes may occur due to weather or technical reasons.
• Dham Sequence and Departure: The Dham sequence and departure times are subject to change due to weather, technical issues, or government permissions.
• Backlog Priority: New Doham passengers scheduled for departure from Dehradun on their respective travel date will always be given top priority over backlog passengers from previous dates.
• Passenger Exchange: Passengers cannot be exchanged at the last minute or within 48 hours of the scheduled departure.

Body Weight and Luggage Limitations

• Capacity and Total Weight: Each helicopter can accommodate up to 6 passengers, with a strict total weight limit of 445 kg for all 6 passengers combined.
• Accurate Measurements: Passengers must provide their exact body weight measured on an electronic scale.
• Excess Weight Charges:
  • Passengers weighing above 75 kg will be charged an excess fee of INR 2,500 per kg, collected in Dehradun before flights.
  • If the provided weight is found to be incorrect during the final check by the pilot, passengers will be charged INR 3,000 per kg.
• De-boarding and Penalty:
  • We reserve the right to de-board passengers without a refund if the actual weight deviates from the booking details.
  • A penalty of INR 1,20,000 + GST will be imposed before departure if the total passenger weight crosses the 450 kg mark. In this scenario, flying will only take place subject to the Pilot and AME's call.
• Luggage Rules: Passengers are allowed 1 small soft duffel bag (maximum 5 kg), which will be provided on the day of arrival. Hard-case luggage or large bags are strictly prohibited.

Hotel Accommodation

• Room Sharing: Rooms are booked on a double or triple sharing basis only. Single occupancy rooms will incur an additional charge of INR 45,000 per person (inclusive of taxes).
• Hotel Changes: We reserve the right to change hotels at the flight origin and destination based on availability.
• Group Splits: Groups of 6 or more passengers may have to stay in different hotels since they will be traveling in separate helicopters due to weight limits.
• Extra Night Halts: Any extra night halt at Dehradun or any of the Dhams must be paid directly by the guest on the same day. Hotels may change depending on availability for extra halts.

Bad Weather and Force MajeureFlying in hilly terrain is subject to Force Majeure factors, including:

• Delayed Air Traffic Clearances / Permissions
• VVIP Movements
• Valley Flying by the Indian Air Force (NOTAM)
• Technical snags in the aircraft or illness of the flying crew
• Late reporting of passengers at helipads

Important Planning Advice: Passengers should be prepared for eventualities and inconveniences in such scenarios. It is strongly advised to keep one additional day beyond the 5N6D itinerary to avoid inconvenience in case of delays due to bad weather or Force Majeure events.

• Itinerary Adjustments: Due to bad weather or backlogs, the company may compress the tour to cover Dodham, Ekdham, or Teendham in just 1 or 2 days.

Cancellations: If no flying is done from Dehradun due to bad weather or backlog, the trip may be treated as cancelled and will not be automatically shifted to the next day.Logistics, Transfers, and Shuttle Services

• Airport Transfers: Complimentary transfers are only provided on the official arrival and departure days. Transfers to Haridwar or Rishikesh will incur an additional charge of INR 8,000 per cab.
• Passenger Grouping: A single vehicle will be provided for a group of 6 passengers throughout the tour. However, passengers may be shifted between different helicopters to ensure safe weight distribution.
• Kedarnath Shuttle: The shuttle from Basecamp to Kedarnath is managed by IRCTC, meaning charter passengers cannot be prioritized and delays are possible.
  • If Kedarnath cannot be covered on the arrival day, the flight will take place the next day, moving to Badrinath immediately after darshan.
  • Passengers may be split into different shuttle flights due to IRCTC management and scheduling of the Kedarnath helicopter services.

Policy For Infants

• Infants under 2 years of age travel free of charge, provided a valid ID or Birth Certificate is presented.

Payment Terms:

• 50% deposit at the time of booking; balance due 30 days before departure. Full payment required before departure to board the helicopter.
• Up to 30 days before the flying date: 40% cancellation charge.
• 0 to 30 days before flying date: No refund.
• If the Yatra is cancelled from Dehradun itself due to any force majeure reasons, 10% of the total amount will be deducted as service and flight preparation charges.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Fees

• 30+ Days Notice: A 20% charge applies for rescheduling requests made 30 days or more before the tour.
• Less than 30 Days Notice: Requests made within 30 days will be treated as a fresh booking, and standard cancellation charges will apply.
