Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Gangtok

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station.
Transfer to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.
Check in to your hotel.
Explore the local market in the evening.
Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 2 Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft / 37 km / 2 hours from Gangtok).
Continue the drive to New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft / 16 km / 1 hour from Tsomgo Lake).
In the evening, return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Note: In case of a landslide or any other reason that causes Tsomgo Lake to be closed, alternate sightseeing will be provided.
Due to the winter season (heavy snow), vehicles will only be able to drive to the Snow Point on the way to Tsomgo Lake and New Baba Mandir.

Day 3 Gangtok to Pelling

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Pelling. On the way, you can explore the following sightseeing options in Pelling:
Rimbi Water Falls
Orange Garden
Kanchenjunga Falls
Later, check into the hotel for an overnight stay in Pelling.

Day 4 Pelling to Darjeeling

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and explore Pelling sightseeing.
Khechopari Lake (it is one of the sacred Buddhist lakes, and it is believed that whatever is wished for in front of the lake comes true).
Pemayangtse Monastery.
Rabdentse Palace Ruins.
Sky Walk.
In the evening, check into the Darjeeling hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5 Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning (4:00 AM) visit to Tiger Hill (subject to availability of tokens; if not possible at sunrise, it will be covered during the daytime).
Return to the hotel after the visit.
After breakfast, starting at 8:30 AM, visit the following attractions:

Himalayan Mountaineering Institute
P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays)
Tenzing Rock
Ropeway (note: closed on the 19th of every month)
Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed on Sundays)
Tea Garden (outer view)
Japanese Temple (Peace Pagoda)

Evening free for shopping or leisure.
Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Day 6 Departure

After your adventure in Darjeeling, transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your holiday:

Prior to 30 days or more: Non-refundable deposit (25% of the total package).
Between 29-20 days of departure: Non-refundable deposit plus 25% of the holiday cost.
Between 19-14 days of departure: Non-refundable deposit plus 50% of the holiday cost.
Between 13-08 days of departure: Non-refundable deposit plus 75% of the holiday cost.
Prior to 7 days of departure: 100% of the holiday cost.
Holiday Matrix will charge a minimum of 5,000 per person as service fees at any stage of booking after the first payment, for any reason.
